One year since we adopted this wild creature! Thank you @emilyalden for dragging her little ass out of the rain, and thank you to the universe for letting her be unaccounted for, so we could make her ours. I feel such a welcome weight of responsibility, getting to be the human that protects her in this world. Over the past year, she's learned to open up to strangers and approach people with an open heart, has learned to behave (somewhat lol) on a leash (thanks @packdaddy_kass) and has proven to be a resilient, kind, and sensitive girl as she shares her home with other dogs looking for families through @maedayrescue (lookin at you @sweetlittlecici). I said yes! 💍 The love of my life proposed to me yesterday in the most magical and romantic way ever, laying out a gorgeous dress for me to wear, sending a car to whisk me off to a mysterious location amongst the clouds, getting down on one knee and saying a serious of beautiful words that had me absolutely sobbing. I am so incredibly grateful to you Chris for coming into my life, for sweeping me off my feet each and every single day, for being my partner in this world. You make every moment brim with love. And to our beautiful friends who surprised us at the beach afterwards to celebrate with us, I am so honored to call you all family! I can’t wait to do forever with my person. Prepare to be spammed with a million more photos in the time to come.
