Irish living in Melbourne 🍀 🌍✈

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Been working on this piece for a while now. Finally got it done and into my home for the foreseeable future 😍

Was made using Shou Sugi Ban method (historically known as Yakisugi) is a traditional Japanese wood preservation technique that involves intentionally charring the surface of wood with fire. This process carbonizes the outer layer of the timber, making it naturally resistant to water, rot, insects, UV damage, and even fire.

Finished with a hard oil wax.

Hit me up if you want one for your home setup. It's quite the statement piece.
