My kind of “quality time” 💪🖤 by @gnairb

A team plays to win, but a movement plays for something bigger.

Standing shoulder to shoulder means looking out for each other, on and off the rink.

This Movember, we use our platform to break the silence, check on our mates, and drive real change.

Drop a 💙 in the comments if you’re standing with us this Movember.

CTD × Movember Barbell Bash 🥸

This Saturday 11/7, C-Town Dads Club is teaming up with the Movember Barbell Bash to put in some work for a cause bigger than fitness.

The Barbell Bash brings people together through fitness to raise awareness and funds for men’s health, including mental health, suicide prevention, and cancer research.

For us, it’s about more than the workout. It’s about building a community where guys show up for one another, have conversations, and look out for each other.

Saturday, November 7

📍 Middle of Carabiner Way (West Side)
⏰ 7:15 AM warm-up | 7:30 AM workout
🏋️ Bring a dumbbell if you have one
🪑 Bring a lawn chair and a Yeti
☕ Coffee is on us afterward!

Donations are encouraged, but everyone is welcome to come out and participate.

Learn more about Movember, support the fundraiser, and read Brian’s story.

Good workouts. Good coffee. Better conversations.

Sharing my story means allowing myself to be vulnerable and it’s not always easy. But I hope sharing my story can make a difference in someone else’s life

Cancer changes you in ways you never expect. But one thing it has taught me is to never take my ability to train and do the things I love for granted again.

Join us for the 11th Annual Movember Barbell Bash!
What started as a garage workout after I was diagnosed back in 2016, has now grown into an annual tradition bringing friends and family together to sweat, celebrate, and raise money for men’s health.
It’s not about how strong you are — it’s about showing up, supporting a great cause, and making a difference.
All fitness levels welcome. Come be part of something bigger!

▶️ I know I know. Sub 4:00 isn’t anything crazy. But I wanted to see how much I could not train like a classic marathoner and still maintain my strength, athleticism, and fitness.
▶️ I was sure to include lots of ISOs, also emphasized a bunch of hip, hamstring, and adductor work, multi planar movements and of course heavy single leg work.
▶️ I did do a long run just about every weekend. Building up to 20 miles.

Plus only 1 more week until 1️⃣1️⃣th Annual Movember Barbell Bash 💪👨🏻

Not everything you carry shows.

In sports and in life, men are fed the same old narrative: grinding in silence is the only flex.

Real strength isn’t about masking the pain it’s owning it. Asking for help doesn’t make you soft; it makes you real enough to level up.

This Movember, let’s keep the same energy for our minds as we do for our training.

Time to change the meta.
Drop a comment or share it to your story if you’re with us.
