Maintenance Day ‼️
Who wants to help me get this thing back on the road🤝🏾💪🏾🏎️

Oil pump:
😮🙃
I got the distributor rod in the oil pump but it’s tilted to the side ready to fall back in the oil pan as the original one did 😂 so i need to pull it back out and seat it properly.

Oil change: i need to do another oil change before i start it up. Three oil dipstick had no oil on it when i checked 😳😬so im not starting it with no oil 😂

Fluids:
I want to check and make sure there’s fluid in the trans, coolant tank, and differential. If so hopefully it doesn’t need to be changed right now.

Battery:
Battery is out. I’m sure i might have to replace it tho. taken in Michigan, USA by @gnarlylyfestyle

UPDATE:
1 step closer to getting this car started
This ARP distributor drive shaft was needed to get oil pressure to the motor since the last one fell into the oil pan.

After this install and a check of the fluids and everything needed to start. We should be up and running SHORTLY!!

I haven’t drove this car in a while. Gotta keep the battery from dying.

How often you start your car in the winter?

‼️Update: Got the car back after getting the fuel system done.
In the process of getting the car started, the distributor rod clip broke in the motor and fell into the oil pan.
So we have new fuel systems and electrical wiring.
Next we have to remove the oil pan and find the broken piece, and hope we don’t have to pull the motor apart and rebuild.
Next update we’ll see.

Y’all wanna see the process in video??
