Thank you to everyone who came to THE ENFLESHMENT and saw “I have 1000 worms and they all love me”! Extra special thank you to all the other wonderful artists I got to meet through this, @pixelmouthnyc for organizing another incredible exhibition, and @kelseymicaela for helping me stick over 1000 individual worms to the wall during a brutal heat wave.

every worm here was individually handmade out of polymer clay over a 3 week period (do not recommend) and I fed an effigy made out of cantaloupe to the worms I raise in our backyard. I recorded the process of it being devoured culminating in a 7 minute time lapse video and as a bonus included some fun facts about worms and decomposition! anyways here’s a clip but lmk if you’re interested in the full video 🪱🪱🪱

In January, @mattross.live and I had the opportunity speak at MAGFest on hauntology, mental health, and gaming — and now the recording is available!! If you’re interested, it’s up on my Substack (link in bio) and also on YouTube (search “Aesthetics of Hauntology and Depression in Video Games”).

A huge thank you to the MAGFest organizers for having us!! I love doing theory nerd stuff with my sweetie!! next collab is marriage :-) by @gnattyroberts
