Jabberwock! A diorama I’ve been working at on and off over the last month or so. I’ll post more pics over a few posts but these are my first attempt with a ‘scenic’ back drop. Just an image pulled from the internet and printed out at home, thanks @74warchild for the tip! Obviously this diorama owes a huge debt of inspiration to @oldhammer_roberthbreseus amazing great spined dragon diorama albeit mine it’s much smaller and far less ambitious. Thanks to @ketiltrout also for moss tips! The figures are all old citadel, the fighter I think is from the attack of the broo set and of course the Nick Bibby jabberwocky. This was a lot of fun and I’ve got at least two more dioramas now in the pipeline #oldhammer #oldhammercommunity #oldhammerfantasy #jabberwocky #warhammer #warhammerfantasy #warhammercommunity #citadelminiatures #diorama #fantasydiorama #warhammerfantasybattle #warhammerfantasyroleplay #paintingwarhammer #paintingoldhammer #preslotta #preslottaminiatures #dungeonsanddragons #dungeonsanddragonsdiorama #runequest #paintingminiatures #paintingminis #wargamesterrain #wargamesscenery #scratchbuild #miniaturemodelling #fantasyminiatures #nickbibby #jabberwock #advanceddungeonsanddragons #osr by @gnoll_brush

Bob Olley ogre standard bearer still available from @rpeminiatures my entry into the ‘big thing’ category at #bringoutyourlead this year, all the other stuff I put in I’ve put pics up of previously. Hope all the die hards that are still at @wargamesfoundry today have a good time and Marcus @the_ansells_attic gets a tow rope for Christmas 😂 #oldhammer #oldhammercommunity #bobolleyminature #ralpartha #ralparthaminiatures #boyl #warhammerogres #warhammerfantasy #warhammerfantasybattle #mordheim #paintingminiatures #warhammer #warhammercommunity #warhammerfantasyroleplay by @gnoll_brush

30mm glossy from @marks_little_soldiers painted as Rupert of Hentzau from the Prisoner of Zenda (see last picture for reference). I love painting these and it’s perhaps as well as I’ve got loads….. backdrop is from @handiworkgames

The progress so far on my 6mm ECW armies. First picture is the Royalists, second the Parliamentarians and the last both side by side. Not the easiest things to photograph but I hope you get the idea. All the figures are from baccus 6mm. Still to add are some dragoons and peasants, maybe a forlorn hope or two and some baggage. Intended rules are the portable pike and shot rules.

Latest curveball project and obsession, napoleonic era naval wargaming. A first for me in both scale and war on the high seas. I’ll be using @ospreypublishing fighting sails rules, I’m not looking for anything overly complicated just fun. The ships are from @tumblingdiceminiatures and the buildings are from @brigademodels both of which have been a joy to paint. The landscape bits are all scratch built.

The Bloody Hollow game from my friend @av.hobbies and @electistudio is having a second print run. I had the pleasure of painting some of the figures featured in the game back in 2023. Here’s one of them that I don’t think I posted at the time. Splendid figure from @wargamesfoundry If you are into small skirmish games and a sleepy hollow setting give it a look!
