Life Bowls in New Haven! So good!! Not only were they so incredibly nice but it was delicious. And i used to work at an Açaí bowl place and im Brazilian. Now i haven’t dove into where they source their Açaí from yet, but it was good and fresh and not sweetened w anything besides the drizzle of honey at the very end on top— as it should be. It also had a matcha granola on it that was yummy. I will be going back! by @gnylaheats

Kung Fu Kitchen in New Haven!! The plans made it out the YSPH gc!!! So much fun and sooooo gooood. Lowkey some of the best Chinese food I’ve had fr. It’s Michelin recommended which is pretty cool. There were 10 of us so we all kinda grouped/paired up to share a few things/got our own stuff. I got the beef and green pepper hand cut noodles… FIRE. I got it less spicy and I’m glad I did bc my spice tolerance is weak and it was perfect

I couldn’t resist and also got the pan fried Peking duck baos… FIREEEE loved the taste and texture of the pan fired buns and the duck was good, a little sweet imo, but I dipped it in a tad bit of chili oil and vinegar and it was great

Wusong Tiki Bar in Cambridge! Went w my girl @kate.dinucci I MISSED YOU DEARLY. But it was this cute little tiki bar. It’s decorated like an elevated and adult version of rainforest cafe lmao. We shared some apps and got some fun drinks! We got the snap dragon shrimp, brussels, crab Yangon, and the tater tots

The drink menu is cool bc every cocktail is rated 1-5 for strength and sweetness levels which was cool and helpful!! My drink was more like a 3.5/5 on strength even though it was rated a 2 😑😑😑 oh well! Kate’s was goooood (the orca cup, I forget what her drink actually was though lol) by @gnylaheats

Willie’s in Boston (Beacon Hill)! Went out for a walk, lunch, matcha, and shopping (glossier had a closing sale…) w @laur_cat the Boston queen herself!! We shared the pepperoni vodka sauce pizza —>

The Nitro Bar in Providence, RI!! Iykyk😏😏😏🤌🤌🤌 this bagel I got was soooo good. I got a half order of their lox bagel a scallion cream cheese on a rosemary salt bagel. Fire. Everything was good and went super well together I was pleasantly surprised

I’ve been wanting to come here for SO long- years and years. I’ve always seen their socials but was convinced I’d never go bc it’s like when tf would I be in Rhode Island LOL, BUT NOWWWWWW im so close!!

I don’t even like coffee but they have like crazy drinks and make fun syrup flavors in house. It’s like a boujie yet laid back, hipster kinda place

I got the blueberry matcha latte with a vanilla bean float. It was sooooo goood. I think I would ask them to go a little lighter on the syrup or add another scoop of matcha. The flavors were great and I could tell the matcha was good, but just personal preference

So cute I would so come back by @gnylaheats

Apollo Bagels. They have quite a few locations across the whole city. I didn’t know they didn’t have a BEC which was disappointing, but their bagels spoke for themselves. I personally wasn’t the BIGGEST fan of the lox- shocking, I know- because I almost think the capers and dill were overpowering, usually I like it, but idk it felt like a lot of

Now let me tell you about this one… WOW. This absolutely hit the spot so hard. This was amazing. Super fresh tomato, the bagel was fire (I love an everything bagel) and the s&p + EVOO drizzle made it extra scrumptious. I’d fr go back JUST for this bagel. Even though the girl who took my order was highkey rude. Oh well by @gnylaheats

The Parkgate in the West Village. Wow. This bar was LIT. so so lively and packed but we had a table/resy so it was cool. I’d love to come here w my dear sisters we’d absolutely run the show LOLOLOLOLOL. HOWEVER. I am very upset bc I called and researched about every single goddamn bar in NYC that had a Sarti Spritz. Parkgate was supposed to have it. I get there. They sold out. ARE YOU FR????? I like slammed my head into the table basically I was so angry. And then 4 girls around my age sat down and all wanted Sarti too and had the same reaction as me. Oh well. My parents liked their drinks and my pornstar martini was good but I’ve had better (by better I mean sweeter) and I wanted my damn spritz. LOL. But the food was actually so so amazing. Tuna tartar w wonton chips were so yummy and flavorful. Steak frites cooked to perfection. And the lobster roll was really yummy. I love a cold lobster roll tbh. It hit the spot by @gnylaheats

Stopped at Da Gennaro in Little Italy for lunch! I got the vodka penne and my dad and grandpa got the pesto gnocchi (not pictured oops). Both were amazing. Super simple but it hit the spot. We were also hungry. The Caprese was unfortunately mid asf. There’s also bullet holes in the building as there was a historic mafia shoot out there???? Idk🤣🤣🤣 BUT it did have 4.5 stars out of +7100 reviews by @gnylaheats

HELLO NEW YORK (*miley cyrus’ cow moos*)!!!!! Went for the day/one night w my fam before they flew back home. First stop was Leon’s Bagels in SoHo. We stuck to SoHo/West Village considering we had less than 24hrs in the world’s most overwhelming city LOL. Esp overwhelming for a foodie like me. Anyways. Leon’s was fire but I was sad I didn’t get to try their lox bc they ran out of onion and tomato??? like that’s what makes it?? LOL but I’d def go back for the BEC. We sat next door at this place called blue tavern (I think?) and since we sat in their section to eat our bagel we had to order drinks (twist our arms!). So I got the US Open’s signature Honey Deuce… FIRE.

ROLi in New Haven! Went w the fam and Milla! It was cute. Kinda expense but yea. Everything was pretty good. Oysters were really good too. It was also super cute and sweet that they came out w a little congratulations for us starting grad school and for Milla’s early bday! by @gnylaheats

Munchies in New Haven (east rock). Sandwiches/phillys. I got their most classic option, mom got one w bacon jam and truffle mayo, pretty good but the bacon jam was a little sweet to my liking too. Dad got jerk chicken which was good. Joell got chopped cheese which he liked. The sandwiches are huge and we should’ve shared 2 btwn the 4 of us lol. Oh well. I’d go back if I was craving a Philly! by @gnylaheats

Barcelona in New Haven! Only came for a drink and got some snacks too which ended up being fire. The first drink I got was disgusting. But he made me another drink that tasted like straight juice but had vodka allegedly, so good lol. Also got some cheeses (a Delice De Bourgogne, a drunken goat, and an aged manchego), and Jamon Iberico OF COURSE. I’ll get jamon iberico any chance I get. This was a pretty freaking solid amount too and for an incredibly reasonable price. I’d be interested to go back and try more of their food by @gnylaheats
