Lord I thank you, as I reflect over these past 5 years of my life it reminds me of your continual grace, protection, mercy and spiritual molding that have brought and kept me this far. Stepping onto Southern university’s campus in Fall of 2020 I didn’t know what were in the days ahead of me, but I knew who was with me which was you oh Lord, so I woke up and faced everyday with no fear even through the ups and downs you would give me the strength to keep marching forward and get to the point of where I am today.

Southern has taught me how to navigate through life, to be prepared for real world situations, and to always represent and take pride in what you stand for, I cannot be thankful enough for my parents and family, all the intellectual knowledge I have gained, the relationships I gained, friends I met along the way and the professors that poured into me during my time here at Southern

As the great text of Ecclesiastes 7:8 says “Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit” through God’s guidance and my perseverance I am proud to announce that on December 19th, 2025 I will be graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with bonafide concentrations of Urban Forestry and History. taken in Southern University by @go.kellz
