This high praise is quite normal. We get these kinds of messages about a Hank a few times each year.
.
Hank has been working at Goalcrease for almost 15 years. He is a goalie equipment expert with heart for people.
.
Before that, Hank played high school hockey for Rosemount followed by two seasons of Jr hockey in the old MnJHL.
.
We are lucky to have him!

Work Mode.
Great to see @anders_miller31 at goalcrease again after his epic playoff run with the @everett_silvertips in the WHL. He needed a quick tune-up before he heads off to a prospects event out west. Next year he will play for Lake Superior State NCAA.
.
Asking about his season, he talked about being slated as the starter in Calgary, but not playing well enough to keep the job. He was quickly traded to Everett and spent several weeks as the back up. Being humbled and motivated by that, he "went into work mode".

Eventually he earned more playing time. The wins started to pile up and the confidence grew continually. He was dominant down the stretch, winning the WHL playoff but eventually falling to Kitchener in the Memorial Cup finals.

It's nice to have leg flare, but it can work against you at certain times. by @goalcrease

The net in front of him allows the coach to shoot hard without scaring the young goalie. Notice how his shoulder and elbow can still reach the crossbar for all coverage necessary.
.
Most young goalies duck under these shots and try to reach above their head with the glove. Staying tall is generally a better technique for long term success by @goalcrease
