Empire Coast Escape 🌊🤍

I surprised Tyson with a trip to Empire Coast for his birthday, and baby, it was everything we needed and more. After a few kid drop-offs and a couple tears (mostly mine because I already missed them 😭), we headed to the airport for a much-needed getaway. The second we landed, I knew I made the right choice. The views were breathtaking. The sun, the ocean breeze, the nature… just immaculate. It felt like the world slowed down for a little while.

I had booked a dinner reservation for us that night, so we rushed to get ready, and whew, the food was worth every second. Between the laughs, the views, and just being able to focus on each other, it felt so special. The next day, babe surprised me with a private one-on-one yoga session. And y’all know he has been extra protective ever since I got pregnant, so every pose came with, “You okay, mama?” and “Don’t overdo it.” 😂 We spent the rest of the day exploring and just soaking in the beauty around us.

Sunday was all about relaxation. I booked us a spa day, and 10/10, highly recommend. Mud baths, sauna, facials, massages… I don’t think I’ve ever felt so relaxed in my life. We spent the afternoon exploring more attractions and just enjoying being together. No schedules, no rushing, just us.

Now that we’re back home, I’m sitting here looking through pictures and smiling because this trip was truly one for the books. I’ve fallen in love with Empire Coast… the peacefulness, the scenery, the slower pace. As much as I enjoyed every minute away, nothing beats coming home to our babies and all the beautiful chaos that comes with them.

Still, I can’t help but think…
Maybe we should buy a vacation home there? 🤍🌴✨
