This just showed up!! My little live record that just accidentally happened. Jeremy asked me to play a gig, @ambparsley showed up and sang, John Valesio just happened to have a Zoom recorder, Eli Crews coincidentally showed up to give me sound tips and voila!! Live at The Pines is now available on the retro format called the compact disc. I’ll have a few with me tonight at the Old Dutch Church where I’ll be performing with the hottest band in the Catskills. @quintanamanuel @davidlizmi @kyleforester @ambparsley @reckless_daughter 6:15! by @goathousestudio

I just accidentally released a live record. Head of PR wasted no time conjuring a stellar blurb. Stream it somewhere, you’ll figure it out. Drawing by Thorneater

“Chris Maxwell took it all off in front of a bunch of friends this past Spring, at The Pines in Mt. Tremper NY. Guitar, drum machine and long time ally, Ambrosia Parsley, harmonizing from a perch in the corner, he filleted his recent catalog, all stripped down. Spicy margaritas were also served.” taken in The Pines Bar, Restaurant and Lodge by @goathousestudio

I haven’t played with a band in a while so i’m really excited. So honored to have this super talented outfit: @quintanamanuel @davidlizmi @kyleforester and lovely golden throated @ambparsley will be helping me cover songs from my last 3 records. I play at 6pm at the Old Dutch Church 10/10. A wonderful night with @meglui and Beccs on the bill. by @goathousestudio

Sympathy for Mata Hari…
How powerful, magnetic, hypnotic can be having @tav.falco and @jonspencerhitmaker together in a song!
Also, are the great musicians on this number, like Chris Maxwell @goathousestudio on guitar, @jonathankirkscey on cello, @pucciopanettieri on percussions, @giuseppe_sangirardi on bass and @walter.brunetti_ on drums.
Dig it!

I’m a huge fan of photographer @bobbyfisherphotography. The images he posts resonated with me and they felt perfect for my little dystopian ditty. Check out his stuff on bobbyfisherphoto.com
Nothingland is the title track from my latest record. I’ll be playing this as well as songs from my last three solo albums at @catskillpines #nothingland #maxwellsongs @bobbyfisherphotography by @goathousestudio
