Expectation: a cozy point & click puzzle game ✨ Reality: a goat causing absolute chaos 🐐💥

Turns out your inventory is just a bunch of soccer balls if you have hooves. Shoutout to the rooster for the acrobatic save, but that’s still a GOAL! 🥅

Game design dilemma! 🛠️

Part of me wants this fall to be perfectly parallel and mathematically correct... but the other half says “who cares, this is how I envision it!”

What do you think is better for a shadow theater style: strict physics or artistic freedom? And... wanna see what happens further down? 👀🐐

They said „use AI to save time!“ So we asked it for art for our cozy, shadow theater puzzle game. This monster is what it gave us instead. 🙅‍♀️✨

We had to quickly retreat to the safety of custom human animation in Unity just to cope. Goat’s Odyssey is lovingly hand-drawn and human-built, featuring actual goats with a normal number of eyes and legs (mostly). Absurdity, physics, and the human touch included. 🐐🖤

Everything is fine. Just a normal day developing Goat’s Odyssey. 🙃
Leaving bugs for “future me” is a valid strategy, right? Tell me I’m not the only one who does this! 🐐🛠️

VAR check on the cat! 🐈⚽

The goat has great ball control, but the cat has serious speed! 🐐💨 VAR confirms: that feline is breaking the speed limit in Goat’s Odyssey.

Never trust a cat in a puzzle game. 🐈🕳️🐐

Every epic adventure starts with a terrible betrayal... usually by a cat. Welcome to the underground shadow theater! The stars around her head mean she’s ready to solve some Point & Click puzzles, right? 💫

Programming a goat is going great... 🐐🔧

I just wanted her to pull the rug, but we accidentally summoned a demon instead. Game development is so much fun! 🔄 Finally got the physics right for Goat’s Odyssey.

If a goat can reach it, she WILL pull it! 🩲

The golden rule of any Point & Click adventure: if it highlights, you MUST pull it. Even if it’s just someone’s laundry. 🐐 Testing out the grab mechanics in Goat’s Odyssey!

[Angry bleating] I want that vacation! 🐐😤

Why just solve puzzles when you can be a chemist, a tourist, and a beach model? 🏖️ The star of Goat’s Odyssey refuses to share the spotlight.
