A few shots from our ice climbing course this past September: 4 nights of winter camping in the heart of the Central Andes, Chile. ❄️🏔️
Incredible conditions, a stunning setting, and a ton of learning. This is one winter we won’t forget! Huge thanks to our guides and porters for making it happen. 🙌
We’re already working on new dates for everyone who showed interest. It’s still snowing up high, so these are the last ski days of the season before summer kicks in. ⛷️

Algunas fotos de los que fue el curso de escalada en hielo el pasado septiembre, 4 noches en campamento invernal, en el corazón de Los Andes centrales, Chile. Condiciones increíbles, ambiente impresionante y full aprendizaje! Sin duda será un invierno difícil de olvidar! , gracias al equipo de guias y porteadores! Ya estamos armando más fechas para los que quedaron interesados! Por ahora sogue nevando en la zona alta, los últimos dias de ski, antes de empezar el verano al en el sur !

The ski season in the Southern Hemisphere is extending; cold fronts have brought us around 9 meters of snow in the central region, conditions are still incredible, and the roads are open! There is still plenty of snow and lots of skiing left to do. We have upcoming dates for guided ski outings—whether you want to keep improving, have specific goals, or just want to get some practice in, drop us a line!

La temporada de ski en el hemisferio sur se extiende, los frentes fríos nos trajeron algo así como 9 metros en la zona central , las condiciones aún estan increíbles , los caminos abiertos ! Aún hay mucha nieve y mucho por skiar , tenemos algunas fechas de salidas guiadas de ski , si quieres seguir mejorando, tienes proyectos o quieres practicar! Escríbenos !

A few frames from last week in the Central Andes.
It’s hard to imagine forgetting a winter like this. Incredible conditions, with over 4 meters (13+ ft) of snow in the alpine.

But as good as it gets, warm temperatures and strong winds are creating complex avalanche conditions that demand our full attention. Travel smart, make conservative decisions, and never head into the backcountry without your avalanche safety gear—beacon, shovel, and probe.

La esperada nevada , trajo algo más de 180cms de nieve ❄️ en Los Andes centrales ! Proximos dias se espera la tormenta siga !
