Year 21,

Thank you God for another year and the continuous blessings. Thank you for the ups and downs along with the adversity that was faced these last couple months. To Year 22, you got the blue print now it’s time to double up.

Wow ! The moment has finally arrived ! 2-3 years ago, I was at the lowest point in my life. Mentally, Physically, and Spiritually I had lost myself. Life wasn’t going as planned, depressed with sleepless nights, and just a lot of overthinking. I was losing the things I loved and held close to my heart, fearing football was next. Blowing an opportunity I thought it was clips for me. Before you know it, Nassau Community College took a chance on me and I am more than grateful. For the first time in my life I had to put myself first. It turned out to be the hardest yet best decision I’ve ever made. I felt this was a second chance for me to do things the right way, my way. I invested time, effort, attention, and love into me and the sky was the limit. I reminisce back on the days crying and asking myself if all this was even worth my time. Through my troubling moments, I learnt even your best is sometimes not enough and that’s okay. All it takes is one person to see your vision, believe in you, and accept you for what you are. For each and every individual that has been there for me at my lowest …from the bottom of my heart I thank you. You picked me up when I was losing hope. You stayed when I needed you the most. Thank you for never giving up on me. I accepted the fact that I will always be in a position where I will have to prove my worth, especially in football. I don’t wanna sound corny or nothing but I don’t have everything figured out. I still have my everyday battles I’m fighting and I am very far from perfect. For what it’s worth ima fighter and one thing I refuse to do is give up when things hit the fan. To my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, thank you for this once in a lifetime opportunity. With that being said, I will be continuing my career at Division I school Central Connecticut State University ! 🤍💙 by @gocrazy.21

21, you pushed through when things got tough. the mental battles you fought can be seen through your play. your pain and ambition can be felt through your emotions. yet you prevail. you win for not listening to give up. you win for going after something many believe is out of your reach. you win for betting on yourself. not where you want to be yet still blessed for not being where you used to be. God has something in store wether it’s on this field or outside in this crazy world we call life. the time and effort you put in wether it’s family, friends, relationships, football etc. never goes unnoticed because of the caring heart that you have and it shall carry you a long way. keep fighting until the very end despite the odds held against you in that moment . ❤️‍🔥 by @gocrazy.21
