There comes a time when we all have to make a tough decision about what truly matters and what the best way forward is. For me, the single most important thing is my family.

Soccer has given me so much, but it has also taken valuable time away from the people I love most. Time is precious and far shorter than we realize. My greatest desire is to be present and create meaningful memories with my family, especially my wife and kids. They mean everything to me.

With that, I’ve decided to step away from professional coaching. This allows me to focus on my family and continue pouring into future generations through RTG in a way that aligns with my values and purpose.

I want to sincerely thank the Houston Dynamo for the past three years and for giving me the opportunity to coach, develop, and contribute to the environment. I’ll always be grateful for the experiences and relationships. There’s no doubt I’ll miss the competitive side of the game but I’m done trading time for money.

It’s time to write a new chapter.

Much love and respect to everyone who supported my coaching journey and opened doors along the way.

A couple months ago the love of my @pnutbeansmommy and I celebrated our 10 year wedding vows renewal in Austin. It was such a magical experience. Thank you for being you!! I say this from the bottom of my heart that you have made me such a better man. I’m forever grateful for you and our beautiful family. Also, thanks to everyone that took time out of their busy schedule to celebrate this joyful day with us. Love always!! taken in Austin, Texas by @godda01

There’s just something magical about our UTampa circle. ❤️ No matter how much time passes or where life takes us, being together always feels like home. So grateful for the laughs, the memories, and the kind of friendships that pick right back up where we left off. Loved every minute with you all this weekend. Forever my people. ❤️ taken in Tampa, Florida by @godda01
