Let me tell you a story—
about the sweetest, gentlest, most extraordinary soul:
our dearest boy, Pita Suara.

Pita was there—
in the quiet bloom of young love,
through the uncertain steps of early marriage,
in seasons of change: new jobs, shifting tides, heartbreaks,
in our lowest valleys and our sunniest peaks.
He was in every celebration,
every family photo,
every ordinary day made sacred by his presence.
He was never “just a dog.”
He was family.

He welcomed everyone—
our friends, families, babies, children, puppies,
new pets (we had so many).
His gentle spirit knew no bounds.
He touched hearts effortlessly,
as if kindness radiated from his very being.

He stayed close, always.
Every chance he got.
Those soft, soulful eyes saw right through me.
He knew my quietest thoughts,
my secrets, my silent prayers.
He heard the pain I never spoke aloud.
He curled up beside me,
a quiet healer,
his warmth a balm no one else could offer.

Pita always put us first.
Even in his final act of love.
He waited until we were away—
during the peak of our busiest days—
to cross the rainbow bridge.
He knew we wouldn’t be able to let go if we were there.
So he chose his time with the grace only he possessed,
so that we might move forward without breaking.
That’s how vast his love was.

We were heartbroken not to be by his side.
But his love was big enough
to stir the hearts of others.
With the help of our friends and family,
he left this world peacefully.
And for that, we are forever grateful.
The ceremony was beautiful,
a sacred tribute
to the life of the greatest soul we’ve ever known—
our perfect boy, Pita Suara.

Thank you, Pita,
for twelve years of unconditional love,
for every joy, every lesson, every quiet gift.
And if your soul should ever return to this world,
we pray you choose us again,
in every lifetime.
