Brian won the Best Prop award at #evo2026 !!! ✨️
This thing is so much fun and feels so satisfying to carry & swing! We were glad that how we broke it down to fit into a suitcase for airplane trips worked out so well too.

The entire scythe breaks down into 7 pieces. The handle splits into 3 pieces, and the seams are hidden by grip wraps. The blade separates from the skull. The blade itself is made of EVA foam, & had to get rolled up to fit into a suitcase 😬 Once it's unpacked, it gets straightened back out by a c-pvc support placed inside.

We're at EVO this weekend! 😁 The fighting game community is awesome. We're cosplaying Hakumen & V-13 from Blazblue today, & Testament tomorrow! If you see us, please say hi! 💜

@arcsystemworksu has been doing great things to support the #teamarccreators lately, & this weekend they've got a gallery wall highlighting a lot of the fantastic artists & cosplayers in the program! Each day will feature different creators, so be sure to check it out if you're here!

This stuff makes things go sooooo much smoother with handsewing, basting, gathering, etc. Already cut into strands the perfect length to work with. (Instead of cutting off too much & getting into a tangled mess, or too little & having to go back for more every 5 seconds.) Already waxed, so no tangling or knotting up, & no dealing with melted wax on your iron or pressing cloth.

Not sponsored. Just a handy thing I wanted to let ya know about. :) Hope it helps!

Combo Breaker day 1! 😁 Brought out Brian's Testament, & I put together a quick speed build cosplay of Testament's crow/demon/fairy girls! I decided to make them as a split, so I didn't have to choose pink or blue 😄

Testament trial run at #animecentral 😁

We've only been working on this for a week, so there are things we want to improve, but we're happy with what we were able to get this to! Since it was a speed build, we didn't get any progress posted after that first preview, whoops! But we'll try to share some of the progress when we can. 😊 Feel free to ask about anything you're curious on!

We will have Testament out at Acen all weekend, and at #combobreaker next!

New cosplay time! 😁 And still loving our giant props 😂

Brian wanted to make Testament from #guiltygear this time! We really like their design in Strive. Annnnd we love doing giant props, so that big scythe just had to happen😁 Brian made a new blade for the scythe he made a while back for his Thanatos cosplay from Hades, and re-skinned the handle. Bit of a bummer the old blade got decommissioned, but the new blade is looking great!

Dizzy's wings, in 360 motion!

Photos of costumes can be amazing, but there's something extra special about seeing a costume in motion. 💕

I made my Necro & Undine wings as inflatables, & their arms have puppet strings that let me control their positioning somewhat. They're pretty neat 😊

Ohhhhhmygoodness we are LOVING these photos @velkai_png took of our Expedition 33 cosplays at Anime LA!!! 🤩💖 They look so much like shots straight from the game! He loves this game just as much as we do, & he wanted to get a look similar to the in-game battle screen. He absolutely nailed it!! That lighting especially is just incredible!

The Blazblue Redo! 💖

We got Hakumen & V-13 touched up enough to be able to test run them at #animelosangeles today! There's more improvements we'd like to make, but overall really happy with how well these 15yr old costumes are doing!
