3D Printing a Fix for the Ugliest Part of My Room

Our AC window kit was hideous, so I designed and 3D printed my own. Scanned the window opening with my @shining3d EinScan Rigil, modeled a custom hose coupler in @adskfusion 360, then printed it on my @bambulab_official H2S. It seats with a tight friction fit plus a little foam — tolerances close enough that no air leaks through, no felt or gasket needed.

From raw material to finished fully customized gear. 🎒🔨

I’ve been wanting to customize the back of my @pgytechglobal backpack, so today we are handcrafting a custom veg-tan leather patch from scratch.
The process started over at the laser bed. I’m using the @xtool.official P2 55W CO2 laser to cut the precise initial outline and dial in the design details on some premium veg-tan leather I picked up from @michaelsstores . Once the laser finished the clean cuts, I prepped the piece and attached a heavy-duty Velcro backing so it’s modular and ready to swap onto any hook-and-loop panel.

For the filmmakers and gearheads wondering how this was shot: we brought out the heavy hitters for this project. This entire video was captured on the beastly RED V-Raptor (major shoutout to the team at @reddigitalcinema ). Because I’m running the RF version of the Raptor, I paired it with some ultra-sharp Canon RF L glass (@canonusa ) to get those crisp, cinematic macro shots of the leather texture and the laser beam at work.
