‘Hyperfocus’ A/V installation
for my first solo exhibition ‘1/60’ opening this Friday ◌ ◌ ◌ · · ·

Šį penktadienį, 16:15-20 val., kviečiu į savo parodos „1/60“ atidarymą @anyksciu.viesoji.biblioteka 📍

Parodoje pirmą kartą bus pristatyta specialiai šiai parodai sukurta A/V instaliacija „Hyperfocus“.

Dėkoju už šį bendrą darbą savo artimai draugei ir nepaprastai talentingai menininkei Goia Amo @goia.amo – Brazilijoje gimusiai, Londone gyvenančiai tapytojai, muzikos prodiuserei ir DJ, kuri sukūrė garso kūrinį šiai vizualinei daliai.

Man buvo didelis malonumas bendradarbiauti su ja kuriant šį darbą. Tai mūsų pirmoji bendra kūrybinė patirtis, o kūrinys viešai pristatomas pirmą kartą – būtent šios parodos atidarymo metu.

This Friday at 4:15 PM, I invite you to the opening of my exhibition “1/60” at @anyksciu.viesoji.biblioteka 📍

The exhibition will premiere “Hyperfocus” — a new A/V installation created specifically for this show.

I’m grateful for this collaboration with my close friend and incredibly talented artist Goia Amo @goia.amo — a Brazilian-born painter, music producer, and DJ based in London, who created the sound piece for this visual work.

It was a great pleasure to collaborate with her on this piece. This is our first creative collaboration, and the work will be presented to the public for the very first time during the exhibition opening.

I would love to see you there 🖤

GOIA AMO blends electro and techno, weaving dark, eerie, and melancholic melodies. Emerging from a background in visual arts and shaped by growing up to the sounds of baile funk in Rio de Janeiro, her work transforms abstraction into sound.
Her sets create atmospheric journeys that bridge groove, funk, and dark cinematic textures, unfolding into immersive sonic experiences. Rooted in a practice of texture, layering, and emotional tension, her work exists at the intersection of image and sound.

GOIA AMO mistura electro e techno, tecendo melodias sombrias, inquietantes e melancólicas. Vinda de uma formação em artes visuais e moldada por crescer ao som do baile funk no Rio de Janeiro, seu trabalho transforma abstração em som.
Seus sets criam jornadas atmosféricas que conectam groove, funk e texturas cinematográficas escuras, se desdobrando em experiências sonoras imersivas. Baseado em uma prática de textura, camadas e tensão emocional, seu trabalho existe na interseção entre imagem e som.
