Florida Water Blues, the second album of 2026 by Twisted Teens, is out this Friday, July 10th via Going Underground! Twisted Teens is a rockin’ roll band from New Orleans. The Kinks of living in a school bus with no wheels on it. The Rolling Stones of Jungian anarchism. The Buzzcocks of the poisoned bogs of south Louisiana. Punk inflected country music, or country inflected punk music idk. Memetic warfare via earworms (it’s extremely catchy.) Outperforms all other bands in every metric, drinks every night but still makes it to the gym. Draws no contrast between the familiar and unfamiliar. Orders for the record are available and shipping now at goingundergroundrecords.com. Link in bio! by @goingunderground

𝗧𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗡𝗦 - "𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀" (𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼) After watching the brand new video for "Florida Water Blues," the title track and first glimpse of the upcoming album from New Orleans duo Twisted Teens, we found ourselves wrestling with the oldest question in the book: which came first, the chicken or the egg? Because it's downright impossible to imagine a more perfect pairing than this gorgeous little short film and the spellbinding soundtrack wrapped around it... or maybe it was the music that had been waiting all along for these images to exist. An impossibly lovable couple drifting through a love story that's as innocent as it is dark, as tender as it is deliciously unsettling, collides with a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind blues tune conjured up by this killer New Orleans two-piece. The result is pure magic: each makes the other shine brighter, until you can no longer picture one without the other. Some stories are simply too beautiful not to be told. Do yourself a favour and don't let this glorious little gem slip under your radar.
