Gravitational forces of the Solar System. It might be surprising to see large planets have a pull comparable to smaller ones at the surface, eg. Uranus pulls the ball slower than Earth! Why? The low density of Uranus puts the surface far from the majority of the mass.

The SCALE of the solar system, including accurate sizes, rotation rates and tilts!

Big planets are usually fast because they're formed from material which was itself moving around the Sun, so the more material you gather, the faster you go! We think Venus and Uranus got their tilts from massive collisions in their past, ouch!

How fast are we moving in space, and why don't you feel it?
Well, technically you do! For example you are, right now, being propelled away the Earth a tiny amount due to Earth's rotation. However, gravity is pulling you back to Earth with an acceleration over 333 times larger, so you're totally stuck to Earth. You technically weigh a tiny bit less when at the equator, for this reason!

Orbiting the Sun you don't feel because of the Sun's gravity canceling as well.

The planets, with accurate rotations and tilts. The tilts are relative to the orbit of each world. Jupiter is the largest and fastest planet. Venus is either upside down or rotating backwards. *Magnificent* new image of the Pillars of Creation by the James Webb Space Telescope. Thousands of stars are forming here and warming the dust around them, which causes them to glow – this is something JWST was built to detect. Each of these stars will likely host at least one planet, but by the time life evolves on them, the dust will probably settle. In fact, our solar system was likely in a beautiful environment such as this about 5 billion years ago. These towering clouds of dust and gas which are over 6,500 light years away, the scale of this image is roughly 8x8 light years.
