That sharp suit, bow tie, and signature smile you’ve always known how to step out in style! And you’ve been a mighty good man & faithful man to GOD!

But beyond the style is the substance, and that’s what we’re celebrating today.

Another year of life is more than a birthday it’s a testimony. Through life’s challenges and uncertain moments, you’ve continued to hold on to your faith, and God has carried you into another chapter. What a blessing to celebrate!

You’re funny, witty, and always ready with something to make somebody laugh. But beyond the humor is a man who loves his family and a father with three beautiful reasons to be proud. Janel is blessed to call you Daddy and to have an older brother and sister to share that love with.

I’m grateful that through the different chapters of our lives, we’ve maintained a friendship rooted in love, respect, and family. The relationship we share with you and Eddett is something I truly cherish. There’s something beautiful about being able to honor our history while celebrating the lives we’ve each built.

My prayer for chapter 63 is that God blesses you with good health, deep peace, and plenty of moments that remind you how loved you are. May there be more laughter, more memories, and more reasons to thank Him.

Sunday Reflection: Don’t wait on the MIRACLE. Be the MIRACLE.

These past few weeks have challenged me in ways many people will never see. But even with everything I’m carrying, I still want to make room to care about what someone else is going through.

At last night’s “BE THE MIRACLE” Gala, I heard something that stayed with me: When you’ve been blessed, you have a responsibility to be a blessing to others.

Sometimes that blessing is a listening ear, a hand to hold, a book gifted at the right moment, or words that help someone believe they can keep going. We don’t always know what someone prayed for before they crossed our path.

I’m learning that I can need encouragement and still give it. I can be walking through a difficult season and still have something meaningful to share. And I can allow others to pour into me, too.

God has blessed me, and I want someone else to feel His blessings through how I show up.

When you’re praying for a MIRACLE, leave room for God to use you to be the MIRACLE.

I am so grateful and thankful for everybody who made our first day of Fatburger Happy Hour a success! Special shout-out to Farley “Jackmaster Funk,” who surprised me today and showed up and showed out! Thank you, Farley—I’m so grateful for our friendship.

Every day, 3–6 PM: Original Burger, fries and drink for $14.99, or the turkey burger meal for $15.99—tax included! We accept EBT through the Restaurant Meals Program.

Saturday reminded me why I keep going. Yesterday reminded me how much I lean on God.

Seeing you show up for our Fatburger Chatham grand opening filled my heart. After six months closed and everything we poured into reopening, your support meant more than you know.

Then yesterday, our equipment went down again. I was devastated, so upset that I physically got sick. I’m feeling much better today, and I’ve been on the phone making calls and working to get answers.

Sharing another closure was hard. I wanted to keep celebrating with you, and asking for your patience again took more out of me than I expected. But you deserve to know what’s happening, even when it’s difficult for me to say.

More than $2 million was invested in bringing this business here. Behind these doors are sacrifices, expenses, prayers, and tears that I haven’t shared publicly. I care deeply about this community and the people who work beside me. That commitment is why I keep showing up, even on the hard days.

A technician is coming tomorrow at 8 a.m., and we’re hopeful we can reopen sometime tomorrow afternoon. Please check here for an update before coming over. I’m working to keep this interruption brief, and I have no intention of allowing another six-month closure.

Once we’re back, our $14.99 happy hour will be available every day from 3–6 p.m., with an Original Burger, fries, and a drink. A turkey burger is just $1 more for our guests who don’t eat red meat. I wanted you included, too.

We are cashless because keeping our guests and team safe comes first. I understand that may cost us some sales, but putting people over profit has to show up in my actions, not just my words.

Thank you for every visit, prayer, share, and encouraging message. You’ve helped carry me through more than you realize.

A gloomy day can’t stop my shine—the God I serve is still good, and my faith is still standing! We’re prayerful and optimistic that Fatburger Chatham will reopen tomorrow. I’ll post again to confirm!
