Every piece I make carries a story.
For me, it all began with one necklace — a single piece that changed everything.
That’s how Gold & Wats was born 🤍

In light of the recent tragedy here in Utah, I was honored to create photo necklaces for both families — for the wives, the children, and the mothers of two fathers whose lives were taken far too soon. I wanted to wait to share this until I knew both families had received their necklaces, and I feel more at peace posting now, knowing they are in their hands.

I lost my own dad in a tragic accident many years ago, so I understand some of the weight that comes with losing a parent unexpectedly. But I also know I can’t fully understand what it feels like to lose a father at such a young age. Some of these children are still so little, yet their spirits are sincere, gentle, and stronger than we often realize. If something as small as a necklace can offer even a moment of comfort, closeness, or reassurance, then that means everything to me.

I was sent a photo of Jr’s(Vaea) youngest son, quietly holding and staring at his necklace. I was told he looked at it all night. That image says more than words ever could. This is why I do what I do.

I’m incredibly grateful to my childhood bestie, Paea, for personally delivering these necklaces to both families. I know both families through her, and it meant so much to me that she was the one to help present them. Thank you, Paea 🤍

My heart remains with these families and our community. May love surround them always. @pyeepyee7 by @goldandwats

Some pieces of jewelry hold a little more meaning than others. 🤍

Recently, our family celebrated two incredibly special milestones — the finalization of our son Toloa’s adoption and the blessing of being sealed together as an eternal family. 🥹🤍

For his special day, I wanted to create something meaningful that he could wear and cherish for years to come. So I made him a necklace featuring his late grandparents, a special connection he shares with both his biological mother and my husband.

Our sweet Toloa is also named after his grandmother’s father, making this piece even more meaningful. It’s a little reminder of his roots, his heritage, and the love that connects our families. ❤️

We are forever grateful to my sister-in-law Ina and the Pale family for blessing our lives with our precious boy. Words will never fully express how much he means to us and how grateful we are to have him in our family.

What was already such a beautiful and sacred occasion became even more meaningful with this little keepsake.

A reminder that jewelry can be so much more than something we wear. It can tell our stories, preserve precious memories, and keep the people we love close to our hearts. 🤍

Forever grateful. Forever family. ♾️

These hands make necklaces AND braid my girl’s hair 😂🤎 A little mom life behind Gold & Wats!

Still practicing, but look at that smile 🥹 Grateful for these big ol’ hands and everything they get to create.

Any other Polynesian mamas working through thick curls on hair day? 😂🙋🏽‍♀️ Share your favorite braiding tips below, and let me know if you want to see which hair products I’m using!

A photo they can keep close. 🤍

I made this necklace for Lesieli in remembrance of her beautiful mother, Elva Wender Havili. The first photo didn’t come out right—I forgot to remove the protective plastic before heat pressing it—so I started again. Those little mistakes happen, and I always want the finished piece to be one I’m proud to send.

This custom necklace has a 1-inch gold-plated stainless steel photo pendant on a standard gold-plated stainless steel chain.

Lesieli, thank you for letting me create this for you. Sending love to your family, and rest in love to Elva. 🤍

I’m officially back! 🥹✨

Summer got a little hectic with my kids home, and I realized I couldn’t balance everything at once. Taking a break gave me time to focus on my family and enjoy all the busy moments that summer brings—but I’m so happy to be creating again and getting back into the groove with Gold & Wats! 🤎

This was my very first order since taking my summer break, so I wanted to make it extra special. I surprised my customer with a second photo pendant and custom chain as a little thank-you for being my first order back! 🥰

Keep checking back because I’ll be sharing new products, updated pricing, and discounts on some of my older jewelry. I’m excited for what’s coming!

Thank you for watching and supporting my small business! 🫶🏽✨

Sometimes my customers have no idea how much they inspire me. 🤍

A while back, I noticed my customer, Alopa, wearing one of the memorial necklaces I created in honor of her husband, Sione Vea. Then I saw another photo… and another… each time she was wearing a different necklace.

Curiosity got the best of me, so I scrolled through her page.

She wears them almost everywhere—at weddings, funerals, graduations, girls’ nights, everyday outings, and even at the Uso Car Club events, where Sione shared a love for cars. Seeing how intentionally she keeps his memory close touched my heart.

It inspired me to create this little video to celebrate her love for Sione and to show what these necklaces can represent. They become more than jewelry—they become a daily reminder of someone who will always be part of your heart.

Thank you, Alopa, for allowing me to create something so meaningful and for continuing to support my small business. It is truly an honor to be a small part of your journey. 🤍

Thank you, David, for the shoutout and for sharing your necklace with us. ❤️

David ordered this custom photo pendant featuring his parents. His father has passed away, and I love that he can keep both of them close to his heart and carry their memory with him wherever he goes.

Thank you again, David, for supporting my small business and allowing me to create something so meaningful for you. 🙏🏾

Rest in peace to David’s father, and much love to his family as they continue to honor his memory. ❤️

Thank you, Michelle, for tagging me in these sweet stories! ❤️ And thank you again for supporting my small business. 🙏🏾

This order was a gift for a close friend who had lost her father. Later, Michelle shared a story her friend posted featuring the necklaces with the words, “Forever Daddy’s Girl.”

One of my favorite parts of creating photo pendants is seeing them given as gifts and become part of someone’s memories.

A recent order for a returning customer. ❤️

She ordered these custom photo pendants featuring her daughter, Irie, and Elder Langi. I’ve seen her create other personalized keepsakes using their photos before, so I was happy to help add these necklaces to her collection.

Michelle is also a returning customer, and I’m always grateful when customers come back and trust me with another order. Thank you for supporting my small business and allowing me to create pieces that help preserve special memories. 🤍
