Wow… it’s officially been ONE WHOLE YEAR since I said goodbye to the corporate world, and I wouldn’t change a thing! 🙌🏽❤️

A year ago, I was scared. I questioned my future and wondered if I was making the right decision. But when God said, “I got you,” I trusted Him—and I’ve been walking by faith ever since. 🙏🏽

To be able to retire at just 46 years old is a blessing I will NEVER take for granted. I know everyone doesn’t get the opportunity to step away from the corporate world that early, so I will forever be grateful for the years I put in, the sacrifices I made, and the blessing of being able to enjoy the fruits of my labor while I’m still young enough to truly enjoy them. 🙏🏽❤️

Now, one year later, I’m loving life on my own terms and my own time. Those slow mornings to myself mean everything. I’ve learned that I don’t have to rush anymore. I can move with purpose, enjoy the moment, and trust where God is leading me.

I have to thank my Hubby for always having my back and constantly going above and beyond for me. ❤️ And a special thank you to my daughter @sheaxshera #for helping him pull off the BIGGEST surprise ever when I retired. That is a memory I will cherish forever!

And now, one year later, I’m stepping into another purpose God placed on my heart: Golden Hands Touch Foundation. 💛🙌🏽

Golden Hands will serve our community by supporting mothers and families affected by drug addiction and helping families as they work toward recovery and rebuilding their lives. This foundation is especially close to my heart because I’m doing it in honor of my mother and father. 🕊️💛

A year ago, I was wondering what was next.

Today, I understand that sometimes you have to close one chapter so God can show you the purpose waiting in the next one.

Retired at 46. One year later. Living with purpose. Walking by faith. And just getting started. 💛✨

Here’s to faith, freedom, family, purpose, and the beginning of Golden Hands. 🙏🏽💛

I remember when I was in my 20s, I used to get sad about getting older. Then my grandma told me something that changed my entire perspective:

“Either you get older, or you’re dead.”

From that moment on, I stopped worrying about aging and started celebrating every birthday like it could be my last. Growing older is a blessing that so many people never get the chance to experience.

So today, I choose gratitude, joy, and making memories.
