Today is Music Advocacy Day!
Recording Academy members from across the country are meeting with lawmakers to protect human creativity in the age of AI and ensure music continues to thrive. #MusicAdvocate

I have been personally shocked to see how AI music is openly promoted by major music platforms. It isn’t difficult to require an AI label to protect real artists and musicians.
It’s time to demand a change!

Add your voice and take action!

My name is Jamie K and I am a composer. I have written soundtracks for video games released by industry leading and independent developers alike. It is a privilege to be one of the many critical storytellers, shaping how audiences feel, react, and interpret the music that soundtracks our lives.

I’m a part of the @recordingacademy Songwriters & Composers Wing to #SupportTodaysComposers and celebrate the creativity and contributions composers bring to today’s musical landscape. Let’s keep real music alive- played by real skilled artists and musicians and written by human composers! taken in Austin, Texas by @goldnotestudios

Have you ever seen a #babygrandpiano get tuned the traditional way?

Meet Harold, my piano tuner and restoration expert! He comes from a family of skilled woodworkers and piano restoration following in his father’s footsteps in their local Texas woodworking shop!

This was so fun write to! 🌊🌊🌊🌊 my kids call me the “OG @hiforrest fan” 😆

I am a beach girl from CA 🌊 and studied piano and composing at @plnu in San Diego, now I live in Texas 🤠with my beautiful family! One of my favorite things to do everyday is play my acoustic piano🎹 and write music!

I love seeing all the different artist’s vibes in their verses! I did mine in a similar style to my Christian summer beach vibes song: ☀️#SummertimeShine☀️ If y’all like Forrest’s music, you might enjoy checking out mine! (Link in bio)

(I also mixed in one of my piano solo songs called “Waves Crash” 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊 See if you can hear the main theme played on piano and mallets in the background. 👀 🎹)

I love what God is doing in all of the Kingdom Creatives in this season! I’m here for it! Let’s keep bringing joy and collaboration back to music! And I want to honor @hiforrest - for the integrity and example you are for the youth and young families of your generation! God is the best author and you carry the roles He has called to in integrity, obedience and JOY! 🙌🎉

(I’d be happy to come and worship our King and make music and hang with you and the band at any of your shows anytime (especially Texas or CA!) 🌊🌊🌊☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️)

“Teach me your ways that I might know you and find your favor” (Exodus 33:13)

(Moses talking to God) and after this he says “If your Presence doesn’t go with us don’t send us”

I want what you want God. Teach me your ways. If your presence doesn’t go with me I don’t want to go, not without You My King.

@axlcreativeco Community @ryankyrk_media on visuals 📷and mixed by @j.l.clodfelter 🎧

(My church @mercyculture declares this verse at every Sunday gathering and it has become written on my heart. Thankful for a healthy church body to be a part of.)
