This Tuesday we’ve been invited by @squareau to hold a market stall at Parliament House for a small business forum hosted by Square and @cosboainsta. There is such an incredible and diverse range of small businesses across the country, from weird little makers like us to amazing cafes, plumbers, tutors and just about anything else you can think of. Small businesses are a vital part of creating and supporting community. We’re so happy to have this opportunity to show what we do and speak with federal and local government members about what they can do to better support us and everyone like us. by @goldst.press

Gold St. recommends: Halloween Double Features to make your month extra spooky. Here’s 6 doubles we think work really nicely together. We’ve got a bit of everything; schlock, schlock and more schlock! Let us know what you’re watching this month pls I have an endless thirst for new movies. High School is Hell You’re battling hormones, puberty, some big ass dork who won’t stop hassling you (could be a student, could be a teacher! You decide) and then you’ve got either a possessed car killing people or a bug invasion. Being a teenager is the worst. Christine (1983) and The Faculty (1998) As Above, So Below Generally things from the ground are good! Vegetables, flowers, trees. But as soon as they wriggle or have limbs they can fuck the fuck off. Here’s two movies about things that can fuck the fuck off. Tremors (1990) and The Gate (1987) Farmland Freakouts We love this take on folk horror by way of middle America. Nothing good goes on in a corn field. Children of the Corn (1984) and Pumpkinhead (1988) Serial Killer Spectacular Ever since I first saw The Exorcist III I haven’t shut up about it and how if it didn’t exist, we wouldn’t have Se7en. So watch them back to back and see what I’m talking about!!! The Exorcist III (1990) and Se7en (1995) Satan is Good, Satan is Our Pal Any movie invoking Satan is an automatic 5 stars. Don’t argue. Hellhole (2022) and The First Omen (2024) Roadtrip Roadkill Generally road trip movies are a rollicking good time. We learn about ourselves and our friends. We form memories that will last forever. So will these ones but in a more traumatising way. Near Dark (1987) and Joy Ride (2001) by @goldst.press
