Nothing Short Of A MIRACLE!

⛳️ @broadmoorlinks

In September of 2024, Broadmoor Links GC in Fletcher, NC (near Asheville) was destroyed by catastrophic flooding caused by Hurricane Helene. The course was completely submerged under approximately 20 feet of water. When the water dissipated, what remained was about 2 feet of sediment and mud that covered the whole property. The next 4 weeks saw no rain, so the mud dried and the ground resembled brick. 624 days later, following a massive community-driven recovery effort, the course that was dead came back to life. It’s nothing short of a MIRACLE!

Now there are 18 wonderful, fun and well conditioned golf holes along with a new clubhouse with pro shop, bar & grill, and indoor golf simulators. There is a state of the art lighted driving range that features 40 covered bays (20 heated) equipped with “Top Tracer” technology. There’s even a 20,000 sq. ft. putting course inspired by the Himalayas at St. Andrews in Scotland. But guess what... this is only the beginning. What’s coming next is a resort hotel, making what was once an eyesore, now a shining light of hope and restoration for all the world to see.
