Today, on International Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day, we’re proud to recognize the talented superintendents and turf-care teams across GolfBC Group.

Our courses span a remarkable variety of climates and environments. Each presents its own distinct challenges, requiring tremendous expertise, adaptability and attention to detail throughout the year.

Much of their work happens before the first tee time and long after the final putt, but its impact is felt during every round. Thank you for your commitment to exceptional playing conditions, environmental stewardship and memorable golf experiences across GolfBC Group.

Please join us in thanking the people who help keep the game—and our courses—on course.

Congratulations to our Superintendent, T-Jay Creamer, on earning the prestigious Master Superintendent® (MS) designation from the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association!

As the highest professional designation available to golf course superintendents in Canada, this achievement recognizes T-Jay's exceptional expertise, leadership, and ongoing commitment to excellence in golf course management. Fewer professionals across the country have reached this level, making it an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the passion and dedication he brings to Olympic View every day.

The outstanding playing conditions our members and guests enjoy are a direct reflection of the care, knowledge, and hard work of T-Jay and our entire Course Maintenance team. We couldn't be prouder to celebrate this well-deserved milestone.

Please join us in congratulating T-Jay on this remarkable achievement! 👏⛳ by @golfbc

The results are in from our 2025 Team Member Survey — and they say a lot about the culture we're proud to have built at GolfBC.

Last year, 89% of our team said they would recommend GolfBC as a great place to work, a strong vote of confidence in our people, our values, and how we show up for one another. We were also thrilled to see so many Team Members take advantage of our free golf benefits, spending time on the courses they help bring to life every day.

These 2025 results reflect the passion, collaboration, and dedication of our incredible team — from grounds maintenance to the admin office.

Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback and helped make 2025 such a strong year. We’re excited to keep building on that momentum in 2026! by @golfbc

We caught up with Keri Moffat, Director of Instruction, at Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club, to talk about the Girls Academy 🐺.

Built for girls. Led by women. Supported by a collaborative team. The Mayfair Lakes Girls Academy is intentionally designed to build confidence, skill, and leadership - on and off the course. 🏆 A Huge Congratulations to Lee Alarie! 🏌️‍♂️

We’re proud to announce that Lee Alarie has been recognized as the Dick Munn Golf Professional of the Year for the Interior Region, presented by @pgaofbc.

Lee’s impact at Gallagher’s Canyon goes far beyond the fairways. As General Manager Peter Hopley shared:

💬 “Lee leads by example every single day. His pride in building a strong, like-minded team shows in the way our members are served—with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.”

From organizing seamless member events and tournaments to staying late to make sure every detail is perfect, Lee’s passion and precision truly elevate the Gallagher’s experience. 🏌️‍♀️🎉

He’s not just a leader—he’s a mentor. The time and guidance he’s poured into developing our Associates, including rising talent, reflects his deep commitment to growing the next generation of golf professionals. 🌱

And what truly sets Lee apart? His consistency. Whether he’s hiring, coaching, or greeting members on the first tee, his standards never slip—he embodies what a Head Professional should be.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to see Lee recognized for all he brings to our team, our members, and the golf community. 🏌️‍♂️💼👏

Our GolfBC Group Head Office team plays an important role in supporting each of our facilities to ensure we can continue to provide the best possible experience for our Members, Guests and Team Members.

From Accounting to Marketing or People & Culture, the behind-the-scenes work is essential, and we appreciate their dedication and hard work every day.

But it’s not all work and no play! Whether it’s taking part in Tips & Sips at Mayfair Lakes, enjoying friendly competition with a game of Pitch & Putt at Stanley Park, cheering on our home team at a hockey game, or sharing a delicious meal during one of our group lunch outings, we always make time to unwind and connect as a team and ensure a balance of hard work and fun!
