LADIES FIRST

The Golf Game Where Your Score Determines Your Tee

CORE RULES

1. The Setup

Ladies First can be played as an individual game or a team game.

All players begin the round from the Men’s Tees.

After every hole, each player’s score determines where they will play from on the next hole.

2. Tee Assignments

At the completion of each hole:

Best score → Tips

Worst score → Ladies’ Tees

Everyone else → Men’s Tees

Tee assignments are based on the player’s actual score, not Stableford points.

The tee assignment applies to the next hole only. After every hole, players are reassigned based on the results of the hole just completed.

3. Ties

If two or more players tie for the best score, all tied players move to the Tips.

If two or more players tie for the worst score, all tied players move to the Ladies’ Tees.

If everyone else falls between those scores, they play from the Men’s Tees.

4. Stableford Scoring

For team play, each player’s score earns their team the following points:

Scoring
Double Bogey or Worse 0
Bogey 1
Par 2
Birdie 4
Eagle 8
Albatross 16
Stableford points are based on the player’s score relative to par, regardless of which tee they played.

5. Winning the Hole

In team play, the team with the lowest individual score on the hole wins the hole.

The winning team receives 1 additional team point.

If the lowest score is tied between players on opposing teams, the hole is a tie (“no blood”):

No team receives the bonus point.

Teams remain unchanged.

The next hole proceeds normally.

6. Winning the Round

For the Core Team format:

Total Team Score = Stableford Points + Hole-Winner Bonus Points

The team with the highest total after 18 holes wins.

For the Individual format:

The player with the most Stableford points after 18 holes wins. by @golfbetweennaps

If you disagree you’re probably taking a breakfast ball, mulligans and boasting about shooting 81.

It’s not easy and it takes discipline.

But I want to be the dad who paid attention to them, always. Gave them what they needed from me.

These little devices have a way of taking over, and I just wanted to put it out there that I’m working on being more present.

Thanks for hearing me out.
