Tiger Then vs Now — Same standard.

2002 → iconic release.
2021 → modern ePack achievement (not pack pulled)

Same design. Same goat. Two decades apart.

History doesn’t change. It just gets reissued.

1996 Merlin Sky Sports Foil Annika Sörenstam PSA 9

An early Annika issue from a set that still flies under the radar. The foil finish gives it such a cool look in person for a card from the mid 90s.

Other golfer foils in set include Fred Couples, & Ernie Els.

1973–74 Panini Campioni dello Sport Jack Nicklaus PSA 5

A sharp early-1970s European issue of the Golden Bear. Panini’s Campioni dello Sport line covered global icons across multiple sports, and Jack was already cementing his legacy with major wins stacked behind him.
Colorful, low-pop, and a fun contrast to the more familiar releases. A great vintage piece of the game’s greatest major champion.

Classic Jack swing. Classic Panini charm. ⛳️

1900 Cope Bros. Cope’s Golfers “A Short Putt” (Narrow Cut)
PSA 2.5 | Total PSA Pop: 4 (all grades)

Card 1 from the first golf card set ever produced. A quiet scene from turn-of-the-century golf.

Only four examples have been graded by PSA across all grades. That’s not condition rarity. That’s survival rarity.

Over 125 years old and still standing. ⛳️

2014 SP Authentic Rookies Auto /299 Rory McIlroy PSA 9 | Auto 10

One of Rory’s key early autos from a set collectors actually care about. Clean on-card signature, classic SP Authentic layout, and a print run that hits the perfect lane between scarce and attainable.

An early snapshot of a player who ended up checking every box the sport can offer.⛳️

2001 Upper Deck eVolve — Autograph /100 Tiger Woods PSA 8 - Total pop across all grades 17

One of Tiger’s rarest early autographs.

This card was only issued through a scratch-off redemption program—collectors had to submit the base eVolve card for a chance to receive the signed version. As a result, not all 100 were redeemed, making the true surviving population significantly smaller than the print run suggests.

A clean, on-card signature from peak-era Tiger, paired with one of Upper Deck’s most distinctive early-2000s designs.

Scarce, historically important, and a cornerstone for any serious Tiger collection.

A redemption-era ghost that actually made it into the wild. ⛳🐅

Thanks to @golf_card_nut for the extra info.

1900 Cope’s Golfers “The Mashie” (Narrow Cut)
PSA 4 | Total Pop 4 Across All Grades (none graded higher)

A snapshot from golf’s earliest illustrated era, depicting the classic mashie, the predecessor to the modern 5-iron.

Scarce, well-preserved, and sitting at the top of the PSA graded charts (for now)⛳️

One of my favorite Tiger cards. 2001 Digital Fan Collection Gold PSA 8. Total PSA pop all grades: 19

If you didn’t know, back in the early 2000s if you wrote Tiger Woods a letter asking for an auto you would get a little photo album that had a facsimile auto photo, letter and trading card.

Most of the time people got the base green version (still cool in its own right) but i believe rarely you could get a gold version, jumbo, silver jumbo or gold jumbo. Pictured here is the regular size gold variant.

Same year as his UD rookie. Gold. Hard to find. Low pop.

This is the kind of card I love.

1900 Cope Bros. Cope’s Golfers — Professor Tait (Narrow Cut) PSA 4 | Pop 2 — none graded higher

Depicted here is Peter Guthrie Tait, a prominent physicist and one of golf’s earliest true theorists.

Tait wasn’t merely a scholar who played golf; he applied scientific rigor to the swing, writing and lecturing on the theory of golf at a time when the game was still being defined.

A fanatical golfer himself, his analytical approach profoundly influenced his son Freddie Tait, the dominant amateur of the late 19th century.

A quiet cornerstone of golf’s intellectual foundation, preserved on cardboard since 1900.
