I’m filled with joy as I’m writing this by celebrating 👏🏼 my sister, Klara.🍾🎓Klara has graduated from Harvard with a Master’s degree in Sustainability and earned the distinction of being named to the Dean’s List—an achievement that reflects not only her intelligence and dedication, but also her integrity, curiosity, and commitment to making a meaningful difference in the world.What makes me most proud is not simply what she has accomplished, but who she is: thoughtful, compassionate, determined, and endlessly driven to leave every place better than she found it.Watching her reach this milestone has been a privilege, and I could not be happier to celebrate this remarkable and exciting new chapter in her life.Congratulations 🍾 , my sissy Klara. THEY STOLE HER LIGHT. She was buried yesterday. 19 years old. Her crime? Nothing. She was a teenager. Diana Bahadori — @baby.rideerrrr2006-2026A brave daughter of Iran — a spirit of motion, defiance, and light.Yesterday, Baby Rider was laid to rest. She deserved a long life filled with joy, play, freedom, adventure, love, and safety — the simple birthrights of every young person. Instead, she became one of thousands of Iranian teenagers and young adults whose lives have been cut short under regime violence and repression.I cannot include all their names — there are too many, and every single one matters. I speak her name here as a symbol for all of them: the riders, the dreamers, the students, the artists, the daughters and sons whose futures were stolen too soon.Perhaps her story cuts especially deep because I recognize something familiar in her — the unapologetic spark of youth, the uniqueness, the charm, the fearless and defiant teenager who refuses to shrink to fit someone else’s limits. That spirit should be celebrated and protected — never punished.Do not be misled by polished narratives or distant commentary that softens reality.
