Happy Birthday Mommy,

I think my favorite thing about you was your unwavering support and belief in me and my siblings. Right or wrong, good or bad, you ALWAYS stood by us and our choices.

You made me believe I could truly do or be anything, something I carry til this day (you might’ve boosted my head a bit too much, that’s ok).
The only thing you really ever wanted from us, was for us to be happy. Truly happy.

There’s really so much I can say. Theres so much I wanted to say. There’s so much I do say; I talk to you everyday after all…I know you can hear me (and sometimes I hear you too).

So on this day, my heart breaks. But I’ll try. I’ll try to smile, and laugh, and think of you, even if I cry while doing it.

But I will embrace happiness every chance I get, and will hold it tight and share it. That’s what you always wanted, for me to be happy. So I’ll try.

I think, therefore I am. I try, therefore I will.

I love you endlessly.

Mama,

I’ll never be the same. You were my very first love in this life, my first hero, my everything. You were the strongest person; from surviving a ruptured brain aneurysm and a stroke in 2018, you promised to pull through for us, your kids, and you did. We lost so much family last year, and I know the heartbreak from grandma’s passing, your mom, was just too much. You fought your demons for us, and I can live with some peace knowing that you no longer have to fight anymore. I don’t know how I’m gonna survive this life without you, but I promise you that as long as I’m alive I’ll try my best to do you proud and look after my siblings.
You loved God, you loved your kids, you loved your family and you instilled that in us.

Please give grandma my love; until we meet again my angels💞
