I love IT events for the questions and the approach to art. Yes, the beauty was noticed, yes, the idea was admired. And then we get down to business: «What’s inside?» «How is it possible that solar panel efficiency increases in cloudy weather?» «And what’s that software?» In short, I love you all 💖💖💖

Special thanks to the adults who managed to hold it together and give space and time to the children who could get lost in the flow for 5 or even 7 minutes. I saw the pain in your eyes, I know how hard it is. But you are heroes for giving the younger generation the chance to be in the flow and feel the art 🔥🔥🔥

Another special thank you for the ideas for further development of the project and for signing up for the controller pre-order list 💖💖💖

And of course, thank you to the Krasnokholmskaya Gallery for the invitation to take part in such a magical event 🎊🌸🫶

No one has ever seen Gzhel like this 🔥🔥🔥

Our ceramic project with Vera Gorbushina’s creative lab is entering the final stretch 💫

Today we went to the Gzhel porcelain factory, transferring our sketches onto molds 👻

Now we’ll have to wait for our molds to be fired, and for the world to see Minecraft, glitch, and cyberpunk in the form of Gzhel for the first time 👀

I’m burning with curiosity and can’t wait for the next trips to the factory… and not just Gzhel 🤓

Today was a full house – the adults had to be moved to a separate table so they wouldn't get in the children's way.

I was inspired by the kids' creativity – they quickly picked up the collage technique and started inventing 3D collages. Making Little Fox-Cookie not from orange paper, but from a texture that actually resembles a cookie. 🎊💃🌸

Feel free to admire the Swan Princess, the not-so-scary Baba Yaga, and other delightful characters from Russian fairy tales 💖💖💖

Thanks to the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve and Vera Gorbushina's creative lab for the wonderful moments 🦄🦄🦄

I invite everyone to Tsaritsyno on July 19th.

At 14:30, I will be leading a walk through our installation «The Art of Interaction.»

At 15:00, there will be a fairy-tale masterclass where we will talk about fairy tales themselves – how far they really are from reality, and who fairy-tale characters are.

After that, each participant will create their own fairy-tale character and take it home with them.

I will be glad to see anyone who wants to explore themselves through fairy tales 💖

Participation is free, children are welcome 🦄

@ioana.vreme.moser Ioana Vreme Moser taught us and helped prepare the sound performance.

We soldered a noise instrument ourselves, then learned to play it and synchronize with each other.🔥

The amazing thing was that everyone had exactly the same parts, the same microcircuit, and the same amount of time for implementation. Yet, each device sounded unique, adding its own character and intonation to the overall sound.🦄🦄🦄

At the performance in @noschoolnevers performance, we had as much fun as we could, discovering the most incredible sound combinations 👻

In our part of the work, we managed to coordinate:
💫 Videotitle maker
💫 Video equalizer
💫 CB radio (trucker radio)
💫 Camera
💫 TV

It turned out to be quite a challenge to create a coherent system from a mix of analog and digital.The difference in speed became starkly noticeable: the analog devices reacted extremely slowly to our inputs, forcing us to wait several seconds for even just a couple of pages to scroll.🙄

That is exactly when the cause-and-effect connections clicked in our minds: digital technologies are super-fast, yet we are exhausted by them. Through our dialogue, we realized that I am frustrated by dopamine algorithms which I cannot resist. 🙄

So, we decided to discuss this issue with everyone who came to the exhibition.The results are not encouraging: most viewers admitted to feeling anger, confusion, and sadness when using technology. However, there are positive aspects as well: everyone still holds hope that they will overcome this, alongside the curiosity needed to find a solution 💖

The No Return festival took place in Nevers, Burgundy, France.

During the two weeks of training at No school @noschoolnevers we managed to prepare a group installation and performance, which was a miracle—people from all continents, seeing each other for the first time, were able to create meaningful joint works in literally about 10 days 🔥🔥🔥

.Our part of the installation (created in collaboration with Norwegian artist @henning.exe ) is called «Does it have to be a dopamine trap?» and invites visitors to pay attention to their feelings when interacting with technology 🤔

The concept behind the collective installation is to reflect on information in all its aspects, and then establish a communication channel between seemingly incompatible technologies 💫

My First Sound Performance in France

My first sound performance in France took place at the No Return festival of technological art @noschoolnevers

I performed «Play with Shadow» in absolutely fairy-tale conditions:
💖 a church with all its unique acoustics
💖 an audience ready to dedicate several hours to technological art in 40-degree heat
💖 extreme weather conditions

The outcome of «Play with Shadow» turned out to be unexpected and a little frightening: as soon as the performance ended, a terrifying thunderstorm broke out with lightning and downpour... and sunshine 🌗. You can see this incredible combination in the second video, shot from my bedroom.

In short, miracles come in batches, just so there’s no doubt left that this is la magie 🦄🦄🦄

We started with a refunct media workshop from @recyclism and ended with 3 wonderful talks! @x.d.ck presented about the local legend Jean-François Feuillete, @henning.exe performing a rap and presented their work, and @gonchargallery presented her art and science artworks! taken in Nevers, France by @gonchargallery

The 61st Biennale delighted and amazed with the depth of its approach🔥💫🎊

I’ll gradually share the works and pavilions that stood out to me, but for now, here’s the overall impression 🦄

💖 Lots of works about bodily experience and rethinking the body. And not just paintings or abstractions you look at and try to figure out, but actually living through experience via the body

💖 Lots of works about awareness and finding a way out of the stress and chaos the world has sunk into—which is already hard to deny or ignore

💖 Really a lot of technological works. Some artists took risks and went beyond the usual video, showing generative art, Kinects, complex kinetic installations with sophisticated electronics. Although some videos were true performances that I still can’t get out of my head. by @gonchargallery

The exhibition ‘Evolution’ has opened at Krasnokholmskaya Gallery, featuring the inimitable Stanislav Drobyshevsky.

This time, I am presenting augmented reality and reflecting on how stone and the telephone have changed the behavior of the species.

We are descendants of the Cro-Magnons, who were able to build close relationships with each other across a vast territory and absorb the Neanderthals, who preferred to wall themselves off from the rest of the world and live in their own world.

It seems that in the modern world, through the telephone, we communicate more and can build closer contact with loved ones. But is that really so? Which path will we take from here? Deepening our relationships or shutting ourselves off from one another?
