Running for Los Angeles City Council to represent district 11

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve always loved voting - but I have to admit… this morning was particularly fun! Please make sure y’all get to the polls too! For the wonderful folks of CD11, very few votes will more directly impact your day-to-day quality of life than that which you’ll cast for your City Councilmember. I respectfully and humbly ask for your vote. Let’s go! #VoteForGood #TeamGood by @good4cd11

I’m fired up and proud to have the support of @ericnakamura, the founder of @giantrobot and incredible leader in the West LA/Sawtelle/Japantown community!

Another incredible day of canvassing (almost) done! Cannot tell you how much I am energized by our volunteers from all over the district who come out and help engage our neighbors. Two days left, #TeamGood! Let’s do this!

Had a great community walk last night with small business owners and renters from West LA’s incredible Oaxacan community. Stopped here and talked with the folks at Monte Alban Restaurant. by @good4cd11

Can’t tell you how awesome it feels when 50 people show up at your house on a Saturday morning to canvass their neighborhoods to help get you elected! We were so overwhelmed by the incredible support that we almost ran out of coffee (but we didn’t. We would never!)
Fired up is an understatement.

I love canvassing. I’ve been walking, knocking, and talking every single day these last three weeks. We’ve got three days of voting left to reach as many people as possible. If you want to join us - reach out! We are leaving nothing on the table. The stakes are too high for our community!

It all comes down to this week! There are a lot of undecided voters out there. Can you pick two days to come canvass with us and help turn out the vote?

I'm excited to announce that a true lion of the west side, former City Council Member Ruth Galanter, has endorsed my campaign. Ruth was chair of the South
Coast Regional Coastal Commission before unseating an 18-year incumbent to gain her seat on the LA City Council. She used her time on the Council to advocate for crucial environmental and coastal issues, and economic justice, and continues to be a force in the community to this day.

Spending this Memorial Day with my twin brother Jeff and the amazing Claudia Luna talking with folks in my community about what matters to them and how we can make things better - and reminding them to get those ballots in by June 7th! taken in Mar Vista Gardens by @good4cd11

This Memorial Day, we remember those who have who have given their lives in service, and their families who bear the weight of that sacrifice even now.
Let us continue to work hard everyday to help this country live up to its promise and potential, and do everything we can to make sure the sacrifices of so many are honored in ensuring all of our neighbors can live and thrive here in dignity and respect. by @good4cd11

I am sickened, I am heartbroken, and I am furious. We all deserve the right to exist in public safely. Our children deserve that. We owe it to them to do everything we can to make that happen. by @good4cd11

Fantastic conversations with folks at the West LA / Sawtelle farmer’s market this morning. A vibrant neighborhood with a deep history as a working person’s neighborhood. Will definitely be back soon! by @good4cd11
