Pray About Everything – Even Gas!

Last week, I noticed that my cooking gas was about to finish, but I hadn't budgeted to refill it. While I was thinking of what to do, prayer came to mind.

Immediately, I prayed to God, saying, "Lord, I don't want my gas to finish while I'm still cooking." If you've ever experienced that frustration—especially when you're meal-prepping at night for the next morning—you know it can be heartbreaking.

Fast-forward to this morning. Before I started cooking, I whispered the same short prayer. And guess what? God answered, just as He promised in Philippians 4:6 (NIV): Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

The gas finished immediately after I was done cooking – not a second before, not a second after, just right on time.

The moral of the story? Pray about everything. Yes, even your cooking gas! God listens.
