The last song I released took me almost seven years to put out. This next one, less than a month. I’m having difficulty putting into words how excited I am about “I’d Ruin My Life”. @sean_magill and I wrote it in under two hours, and @georgespits helped us bring it home with his mixing and mastering. We went into the studio with absolutely nothing, and came out with something that means the world to me. There’s a certain magic to capturing a feeling in such a short amount of time. It’s raw, true, unfiltered. George’s beautiful daughter said the track reminded her of a video game, so Sean and I went to the arcade and played some games. I’m so blessed to be able to create with not only some of the most talented artists I’ve ever come across, but also my best friends.
