These sweaters are pretty dang sweet 🔥

The Pittsburgh Penguins officially unveiled their bold new Hometown Remix uniform, part of a league-wide special edition apparel program created by the NHL and Fanatics. Commemorating the franchise’s 60th anniversary season, the design steps away from the traditional black and gold to fully embrace a retro palette inspired by the rich blues worn during the team’s 1967 inaugural year. The jersey features a unique navy and light blue base with bright yellow accents, blending classic hockey heritage with an unconventional, modern twist that instantly captured league-wide attention.

The primary inspiration for the aesthetic is “pure pop-art energy,” paying direct homage to legendary Pittsburgh-born artist Andy Warhol. This influence is most prominent in the subtle halftone polka-dot textures filling out the main skating penguin crest and the jersey numbers. Beyond the pop-art flair, the uniform is anchored in local geography and nostalgia, boasting offset shoulder patches featuring the historic Civic Arena “Igloo” and the iconic Three Rivers triangle. A colorful representation of Pittsburgh’s unique neighborhoods lines the bottom hem, grounding the stylized look in localized city pride by @goodburghers

The only man that can save Paris. 🇫🇷

The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis for the NFL's first-ever regular-season game in France. Kickoff for the Week 7 matchup is set for 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time (2:30 p.m. local CEST). Head coach Mike McCarthy and the team will practice in Pittsburgh before departing for Europe on Thursday, following their previous game against the Buccaneers. Fans can look for updates and ticketing details through the Pittsburgh Steelers Official Site and NFL International Games.
The historic international showcase is moving forward as scheduled despite a backdrop of widespread civil unrest and protests across France. While recent demonstrations and clashes with law enforcement have raised local security questions and prompted travel advisories, league officials confirmed that preparations and fan events like the "NFL House" remain on track. Both the Steelers and Saints are proceeding with their operational plans under close coordination with French authorities. by @goodburghers
