🌹New bust is finally finished! Inspired by some of my favorite Grace Jones photos as well as various fashion editorials and makeup I’ve done.

Bust is sculpted from clay and then painted. All jewelry is hand made by me and the leather vest is hand constructed from recycled leather, stitched, studded and adorned with real metal studs and bobbles. The cigarette is also removable if you’re not into that kinda thing.

Measures 5 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide.

Another new(ish) bust, lol honestly kind of a fail in a lot of ways butttttt, whatever, we live and learn 😅 This one took almost 6 months to finish due to me repeatedly changing my mind and experimenting with new techniques, and as you can tell by the exacto knife hack marks all over her body, she was put through a lot in the process. She is one of the first sculptures I started making in a series that explores the way we create our sense of identity through the process of getting ready and personal adornment.

Piece measures 4.75 inches tall, is sculpted from Sculpey Living Doll clay and hand painted. All jewelry and accessories are hand made from metal, metal hardware, clay and wood and even has a real little mirror in her tiny ass compact. Today is my Dad’s birthday, and the first one he’s not here for, so I thought I would share some of the things he has made, written and drawn to celebrate him. The last poem is one he wrote when his father passed away. Happy birthday dad, I miss you a whole lot. by @goodbyefroggy

And she’s finishedddd! My first body sculpt ever. It’s weird bc I’ve never considered myself a sculptor by any measure. A painter, sure, classical artist, portrait artist, illustrator, why not, but sculpting never made its way into the lexicon of my eternal self categorizing. This year however, sculpting has been the art form that I’ve found myself enjoying more than any other medium. I’m really excited about it and every day I wake up looking forward to working on art again.. I dunno, it’s just cool af to be excited about what you’re doing. Anyways, yes, this is for sale. DM if you’re interested. Yes, I’m always open for commissions, sculptures or otherwise and thanks to everyone that was stoked to follow the progress of this one. I really enjoyed making it. It’s been 3 years with my favorite person in the whole world and since we can’t be together today, I am coming out of hard post retirement to say I just feel so lucky to have a partner I get to be my whole complete self with. I’ve got three ceramic votive holders/knick knack display shelves/altars available after the market. They all fit a single candle plus other various trinkets. Handmade, hand painted, and water resistant but don’t put in the bath.
