Jamo is Drift Team Animal Style’s newest member, his driving style, car style, and presence made that an easy choice. For someone so young to not only be driving but building cars at the level he is there is no excuse other than dedication. We talk about the struggles of trusting the wrong head gasket and SR20DET issues that no one wants to have. Jamo is just getting started but it was great to sit down and hear his story so far. We couldn’t be more excited to see where his story goes.

Drifting has its ups and downs, that’s what makes it so special. It’s the low points and pushing through them to get to the high points that we all feel. That’s catching the wave. You never know when the perfect wave is coming. It could be a long ride or a short one. No matter what there will be another one coming as long as you keep it pushing and that it what’s so great about our sport. by @goodestcast

Reese Marin is the newest Formula Drift judge, but that does not mean he’s new to drifting. Resse has been around drifting for decades. This man lives and breathes the sport, as a driver, as a coach, as a judge, and as a spotter. He is passionate about what makes drifting cool to him and is an advocate for keeping drifting both fun and hardcore.

As drifters we’re lucky to have found our thing in this world that keeps us going. Not everyone is so lucky to find their thing or even have the resources to pursue it if they do. Sometimes a break to see what your life looks like without it is all you need to realize how lucky you are. taken in San Francisco, California by @goodestcast

It’s always hard to gauge what’s going to happen when you click upload. Hit and Run pumped out nothing but fun entertaining relatable videos that got all of us hyped on drifting and the camaraderie that comes with it. Everything they did felt like a party we wanted to be invited to. The cool cars, the sick driving, the laughs. We wanted to be there for all of it. Their goal was to invoke adventure in others, and they did exactly that. by @goodestcast

Jack is another example of the uniquely great people you meet through drifting. He and his team mates from Hit and Run Drift Club really made drifting fun. They created iconic videos with the help of Scott Mitchell that made waves in the drift world. Their stuff really inspired me when I was getting into drifting. It was all just friends having fun and building cool cars to go shred with, rowdy trips to Japan that looked like a dream. It was something to aspire to. They still run their event called Glory Days in Australia, and Jack has been branching out and exploring drifting in a very different way in some unexpected places.

Tommy Roberts and Matt Powers are two guys who know how to have a good time and look cool doing it. I always wondered how they linked up and man, I am so happy they did. From the cars they built to the fun they brought to drifting on the west coast. Drifting would not be the same without them. taken in San Diego, California by @goodestcast

To drive C Course well it must become an obsession. Drivers are in the pursuit of pushing their abilities to achieve the highest level of skill.

To have a machine that can operate under such stress lap after lap is one thing. To free your mind pushing 100% is another.

Casey started this obsession years ago. He’s reached a high level as a foreigner making D1 history with a first ever 100 point run in street legal & LIGHTS.

This is years in the making and well earned. Congrats to the @shirtstuckedin team. by @goodestcast

Putting out 1,600 vlogs is mind blowing.

If you’ve ever filmed and edited videos, you know how insane that number really is. It’s easy to look at a creator’s car collection, lifestyle, or success and feel a sense of envy. What we don’t always see are the thousands of hours spent behind the camera, behind the computer, and behind the scenes.

Anything worth having comes with sacrifice. The question is whether you’re willing to pay the price long before anyone notices the result. by @goodestcast

Jimmy Oakes is a Connecticut based car builder, BMXer, and driver. He also hosts a Youtube channel covering all his car builds and trips driving all over the world. Jimmy is also a part of Front Street Drift Team, which is one of the premiere drift teams in the US known for their clean S Chassis builds and aggressive driving style. Over my time getting to know Jimmy it is obvious this man lives and breathes drifting. The level of his chase driving skill shows that and is proof BMX kids pick up drifting quickly.

In 2017, Jason Bostrom and his teammates, Julian Jacobs and Ryan Kado, sent their drift cars to Japan to drift at Meihan Sportsland. What they got from the trip was a lesson in car setup and driving technique that they still use today. Check out our mini documentary by (julius) about his trip to Kansai All Stars on the channel. by @goodestcast
