Meet John Bowtie @john_bowtie 🏴‍☠️🇧🇭A closer look into the talent of our headliner this Friday.Raised around music by a nightclub DJ father, John Bowtie began behind a drum kit before finding his natural home in House. That early grounding still shapes the way he plays today: rhythm-first, instinctive and built around the physical response of the room.His sets move across deep, minimal, classic, tech, UK garage and tougher shades of House, with each selection shaped live rather than arranged in advance. A self-described disciple of Laurent Garnier in spirit, John treats the booth as a place for storytelling, balancing rolling grooves, unexpected turns and enough tension to keep the floor guessing.Based in Dubai, co-founder of GATE TWO, he has appeared at Tomorrowland, UNUM Festival, Sunwaves, Terra Solis, Pacha Icons, Groove on the Grass and venues across Europe and the Middle East. He has shared stages with Arapu, Cristi Cons, Radio Slave, Cassy, Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Damian Lazarus, Guy Gerber and many more.His work as a producer carries the same attention to sound design and groove, with releases and collaborations on Rek’d, Azzur Music, Indie House Records, Calamar Records and Superfett.
