Assetto Corsa Thunderhill skidpad now available!

Huge thank you to the mastermind @p3d.ws for creating the entire thing from scratch and @dmds_drezzy for making the connection. This project has been in the works for a few years, and after some pauses we were able to get it ready for a public release. Big ups to @undxrr for testing and giving input.

The idea is to create a link between our IRL events and virtually. Drivers attending the upcoming GLL event will be able to practice beforehand, and those not local to NorCal can still enjoy and experience the skidpad and GLL layouts.

Skidpad Social A-Course is the first layout to be available to sync with our June 20 event.

This Assetto track will be going through constant updates, with new layouts being added for every IRL event layout we run.

Keep a look out for future comps, weeknight sessions, and our GLL Cyber Division team debut. The first Assetto comp on SS A-Course will be on June 27, more info coming soon.

Download link in the bio. Server is also up and running, join the discord for details.

Please enjoy. Let’s do the virtual D! taken in Thunderhill Raceway by @goodluckleague

Our first Ladies Class was a great time! Lots of rippers, lots of leveling up, and lots of good vibes. Thank you to every driver and spectator that came out to support.

Thank you to our guest instructors @driftqueen and @itsphoebejacobs who spent majority of the day instructing all levels. Very cool to see.

Shouts out to our vendors @guavalissa @overrundrift @tee.daa @sachikogoesracing @driftcave for pushing through the windy conditions and still providing for everyone!

We need more than one Ladies Class event a year so we’ll try our best to have multiple in 2027, hope to see yall at future ones 🙂

Presenting your guest instructors for Ladies Class!

@driftqueen is an OG of the drift scene. She’s previously competed in Formula D, as well as founded and runs the first US all-women’s drift team and program Drifting Pretty. She also runs @sachikogoesracing and authors children’s books about drifting!

@itsphoebejacobs aka the queen of @driftteamanimalstyle ! Her aggressive style driving can be seen on display at NorCal events and she’s a complete ripper.

@veronisaurousrex is the cohost of this event and has multiple years under her belt of driving. She also has an engraving business making cool rear view mirrors and everything else that can be engraved. taken in Thunderhill Raceway by @goodluckleague

September Practice Day had an improved entry practice layout that was more beginner-friendly but still allowed advanced drivers to get speed for dem flicks.

We also got to see some new / upgraded machines, including @kat_carreras with his freshly built KAT, @aaronspandora with more power, and @j_fargher debuting his wagon. Congrats yall! taken in Thunderhill Raceway by @goodluckleague

At the last Skidpad Social we had a chance to chat with @5x120mike and get his thoughts about drifting. Mike has been to a ton of GLL events and we’ve watched him level up to the ripper that he is now! taken in Thunderhill Raceway by @goodluckleague
