Hi, I’m Izzy 👋
I thought seeing it’s been a year since we rebranded, I should probably do an introduction post ☺️
I’m here to help you find your next new favourite playground, cafe, kid friendly activity/event, recipe, product etc! ♥️
I have two daughters Lola and Mika (3 &1) & I know how hard motherhood can be sometimes, so I hope we can build a sense of community and I can help bear some of the weight of your mental load of finding what to do on the weekend ❤️
My husband and I started this page almost 10 years ago as “Goodfoodofperth” where we shared the best restaurants & cafes in Perth. Since having our daughter 3 years ago, I have been breastfeeding both of my daughters with CMPA (dairy & soy allergies). A food blog was no longer really suitable! But we still share some foodie content! 🍔🍕

If you’re heading to Pemberton, I definitely recommend an early dinner at @jasperspemberton 😍

The food was delicious 😋
They have plenty of locally made drinks there, we found a new favourite cider from the region 🍻
There’s an outdoor space for kids to run around 🏃‍♀️

Good service ☺️

Perfect thing to do when your husbands taking photos of his toasted marshmallows tbh

We met the loveliest family at Pump hill farm & took photos for each other on the morning tractor rides ☺️

You cannot miss this spot when visiting Pemberton 😍
Wonderful wines, delicious eats & and outdoor area to occupy the kids 👏
They aren’t afraid to be creative with their menu, if you’re like me and like to go out to eat things you couldn’t make yourself ~ this is the spot 🤤 Everything paired together so well 👌🏼

They’re doing a bee long table dinner on the 24th of October if you’re buzzing around town then 🐝

HIGHLIGHTS:
Outdoor seating with swings, a slide, tyres to climb & grass to run around on 🛝
Wine tasting paddles with their own wines or @picardy_wines 🍷
Delicious food with combinations you might not have picked but work together perfectly 😍
Allergy aware, great knowledge & accommodating 👌🏼
Kids menu & juice boxes 🧃

If you come to Pemberton, put this to the top of your list 😍
Such a beautiful & fun morning 🚃
Driving through the beautiful Karri Forest, past Pemberton Swimming Pool, the towns old mill & stopping at the Cascades for an explore 💦
Learn the rich history of Pemberton 🌳
Enjoy the serenity 🌿

Things to know:

Book ahead online 📱
Choose from a return trip (75 minutes with a 25 minute break at the cascades) or walk back from the Cascades 🚶‍♀️
Beautiful wildflowers during Spring 🌸

Highly recommend this for any group - families, couples etc.

Yesterday at @outbacksplash 💦
Though it may not have been ideal weather conditions ☀️
We still had so much fun ☺️
My little ones mainly frolicked and went down the slide at Octopus Bay 🐙
Played in the mazes 🌳🛞
Enjoyed the playground 🛝
Mini golf ⛳️
And of course food 🍔🍦

Perth’s best fried chicken? 🍗
I think so! 😍
We’ve been coming for years & never had a meal we didn’t love!
The signature combo for $50 is honestly such a good value- 3 fried chicken flavours, chips, rice cakes, pickled daikon, coleslaw and a salad 👏
Korean fried chicken lovers, do yourself a favour and get here 😍
Locations in Northbridge, Vic Park & Bull Creek ☺️
The original chicken is dairy & soy free too!

What I’ve packed my 3 year old for our 3.5 hour road trip on Monday 🚗🚙
All of it can be played with on our @im_with_kids travel lap tray ☺️

And don’t worry I’ve taken 60% out and put it into my own bag so she spends longer on each thing 🤞
