We’ve been sisters for as long as we can remember 😅 and always gotten along which is something we don’t take for granted. We were born 4 years apart, live less than a mile from each other, and are each 5’6”+ shoe size 10 🤓

Together we have traveled to countless countries, run a handful of races, married two awesome dudes, and now we’re raising our families in the same city 💚

We created this space to share some of our fav books, clothes, skincare, haircare, kid hacks etc. in hopes to help other women just like us!!!

Here are a few things [as a third time mom] that are game changers 🤌🏻

🤠Nuuly subscription was SO helpful the second half of pregnancy 🤰🏻& into post partaum 🤱🏻 @nuuly

🤠Baby bouncer & attachment! Attachment has been a game changer for the third baby, helps keep his attention longer 😅 @babybjorn

🤠This Book - “Nurture” (Tessa had and I’ve borrowed) - gives details about each month of your pregnancy and then has lots of GREAT recipe ideas, registration ideas, tips for birth and postpartum, etc- really great resource!

🤠Each of my kids has loved the MAM paci - I know Tessa’s have liked BIBS

🤠Holy smokes this Yeti mug 🙌🏼 if you know me you know I usually drive around with an open ceramic mug & it spills about 50% of the time. This one closes completely and you could toss it in your purse if you wanted 🫨 @yeti

🤠my Mabe carrier was a gift for 3rd babe and I use it daily! Very comfortable for both of us 🩵 @mabecarriers

🤠 Not sure why I’ve never used a hand pump other times post partaum but this third time around it is so easy and convenient to have with me whenever in case I needed to pump while we were at the pool or on the way to a dance performance, etc. @medela_us

🤠this baby body soap has been so great and all the kids use it! No fragrance so it doesn’t irritate anyone’s skin 🫶🏼 @pipettebaby

*easiest* budget friendly way to organize….use what you have! I save sturdy boxes to use in drawers, etc. or find them in the dollar section at @target - doesn’t have to be a huge 💰 overhaul to make a drawer/cabinet more functional!

Some things pictured-
> box a nice planner came in for kids toothbrushes
> apple product box for q-tips
> candle box for lipstick and mascara
> AirPods box for gift cards/ washy tape/etc
> @gathre mat box for Charlie’s hair clips
> dollar section basket for more little hair clips
> the other side of a candle box for extra buttons/bra straps
> @warbyparker box for pens

📕 must read 📕

We just finished it for our book club (s/o to literate women 😘) and both gave it 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Both read it so can’t speak to the audiobook but such a great historical fiction! It opens with a murder in a 1950s boarding house (women only) in D.C. Then you get a glimpse into each persons background while trying to figure out the motive/etc. We highly suggest adding it to your list!

Very simple kid activity: Adventure Walk 🐞🦋🍃🍁🌼

Computer paper + tape + pipe cleaners (could also use a stapler)! We let the boys decorate the front aka why you can’t see any words on Woods’ 😅

Pick items you could find wherever you are- mountains, beach, grandparents house or your own backyard!

They’re the perfect weight & have pockets and a belt that’s sewn on so it doesn’t get lost 👌🏼

Definitely size up for your kiddos so that they last for years! Charlie just outgrew hers I bought her when she was 2 🙃

This has quickly become one of our favorite spots for a long girls weekend thanks to our lovely aunt who allows us to use her amazing condo 🫶🏼

Fly into Panama City or Destin & if you’re wanting to bop between towns we recommend renting a car! Rental cars have always been very affordable compared to Ubers.

When planning our weekends we usually make reservations for dinner and then keep the days more free to be on the beach, go for walks & shop!

These are some of our favorite spots to hit! Let us know if you have any favs we should try next year!!

In the midst of all the summer shenanigans, the travels, the camps, the beach trips and the family reunions, we lose touch with the simple joys a summer morning can bring. We tend to over-give, over-plan, and over-stimulate our kids without even realizing it. Their little imaginations lose steam when they’re exhausted from an 8 hour pool day, new summer toys or the inconsistency of sleep. Taking a morning to simply play (after coffee of course 😉) with our kids outside grounds them- it revitalizes what might be a dying sense of adventure and risk. It grounds us too! Let go of the new pool toy, the summer curriculum, the stress of planning out every morning or the non-stop play dates. Be with your kids, outside, with nothing but a hose and the sun. Explore and learn, and play make believe. Our kids can benefit drastically from being removed from the constant stimulation. And we could all use a little more dirt under our fingernails. After all, you only have 18 summers with them 🫶🏻 All you need is a blanket, a sprinkler and maybe some caffeine ☕️ taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @goodsouthsisters
