Päť Spišských plies channelling Mednyánszky one morning.

With just a camera and gear, hiking alone in the mountains is an experience unlike any other. Almost like walking into a painting, the landscape unfolds before you in a way that can't be easily described. The smell of the air and the sound of water fill your senses and draw you deeper into the moment.
Can't wait to see it printed! 💫

from Tatras & Paradise (2017-ongoing, medium format film)

It's all in the details, as they say, such as matching the eye colour with the face mask. ✨

Photographing empty packaging made for different brands together isn't easy, you might think. But it's actually a piece of cake... if that cake was made out of packing peanuts! ;)
With a little bit of creativity and a lot of patience, using colourful custom-made backgrounds and props with professional lighting, these well-made paper objects by @tlaciaren_bardejov take on a slightly sculptural and playful feel. Who knew paper could be so much fun?

Selecting the right photo (from a 2-hour portrait session) and editing it correctly is half the battle, as they say. The expression on the sitter's face can sometimes make or break it. Technical errors can often be corrected afterwards, but capturing a fleeting half-smile or a mischievous look that is lost in an instant is crucial. This one took quite a while since it was supposed to be a mock fashion shoot for the glasses he's wearing. Using a professional model is highly recommended for that kind of thing, and Ľuboš works as a front-end developer by day and as an AI artist by night. ✨ 🧚
"If only he could code the expression we wanted!" (spoiler alert, he can! ;) He used this photo session as a source for a lot of his AI portraits, some of which you can see here @httpstersk

The non-AI selection includes a few portraits and even two lifestyle shots of glasses. Who knew glasses had a lifestyle?! 😎 taken in Good Studio by @goodstudio.photography

Aona got in touch with us to see if she could do an internship at our studio for a high school work placement assessment.
We were delighted & got her involved in the day-to-day workings of the studio, different kinds of photoshoots and post-process workflow. Even managed to get her to sit for a portrait as you see! 🤍
If you’re up for an internship too, do get in touch, but you may end up being photographed as a part of the learning process. 😉 taken in Good Studio by @goodstudio.photography
