EDIT: Thank you everyone who corrected my (Erin's) mispronunciation of manong! It was an honest mistake from thinking someone else who said it knew better than me, as it is not Tagalog (which is the one I'm familiar with). This pronunciation IS used by Ilocanos (as some of you have told me) but is clearly not the "main" or most commonly "correct" one. I feel embarrassed but grateful to now know better.
