GoodVibrationsinKC.com Thank you everyone who has supported me on my journey. Eos from prison in Oct. to back home where I still had 9 outstanding warrants and living at a sober house with not a penny to my name. I remember actually crying tears because I got hired at jimmy John’s. Soon after I was kicked out of 2 sober houses. One suggesting I should just go use again and come try again. I sat on the corner that day with my bags sitting in a park bench off paseo. I was at a crucial point in my sobriety at this moment. It would have been so easy to do what made the most sense to me in that moment. But I ended up calling my sister. I went home for the first time in close to 20 years. And maybe seeing that my mom had hope for the first time in a long time or maybe living with my sons again and being able to be apart of there daily lives. But I never once took the blessing given to me for granted and I wake up early every morning and l step to the plate. I take ZERO days off. I apply myself at home, at court, at work, at church and I give it everything I’ve got. I worked a part time job saving paychecks until I paid and cleared every warrant and got a license for the first time in 15 years. As the months went on I worked on my credit for the first time, My credit score went from 55sum to 75sum. Fast forward a few months and I’m the proud owner of a tattoo studio in northtown. For everyone still fighting out there, you can have anything you want. You are chosen.
