We did it!!
Our first community hike to Gowbarrow Fell today
So proud of us both 🙌

It was so beautiful and could not of wished for better weather.

It was two of us today on the hills today and hopefully more will be able to join us for the next one

There is just something magical about climbing those beautiful hills is good company

Such a lovely spooky night last night with the @goodvibrationsneuk community

Thank you to everyone that came along and pulled out all the stops with costumes and fab energy
I had a right giggle

Must say I got completely humbled by the kids, apparently I’m not a scary witch 🧙🤣 I blame the parents

Oh if there ever is a witch in the woods / your group and you have to track her down- we’re probably mostly not your group 🫣🤣

I hope night like these will lovely people continue

Spooky Night 👻
Friday 16th October 7pm till 9pm

Yes it’s that magical spooky time of the year!

So……..
What it all about
🎃 Good Vibes Community
🎃 Fancy Dress
🎃 Fire Pits for marshmallows and potatoes
🎃 Chill, chat & music
🎃 Scare Maze

So… details
Friday 16th October 7pm till 9pm
Location : Beamish Hall Woods
Parking on site. We will meet in the car park and head into the woods together
Optional £5 to take part (£2 Charity, £3 logs for fire)

To get involved you will need:
It’s a bring your own stuff and meet kinda gig
* Something to sit on
* Costume, something warm
* Marshmellows, potatoes, plates etc
* Warm drinks, no booze
* wood for fire or donation
* All welcome

Team work makes the dream work so if u can help with setting up, taking down, that would be great.

Woman’s community walking group

Thank you of a lovely walk last night ladies

We enjoying getting out and about even in the dark!
To be honest I never used to go walking in the dark but in the group it’s actually good fun. And all birds you hear is just amazing 🌚🌕

We raised £33 last night from your donations 🙌

This isn’t just about making a beautiful book; it’s about creating a dedicated space to connect with what makes you happy and sparks joy in your life!

You don’t need to be artist!
We provide inspiration pages and community support to cheerleaders each other to create something that you love

A beautiful book that you continue to work on and turn to as your personal lil happy place

We’ll use New & Vintage magazine, handmade papers, poetry & quote books, local dried pressed flowers, paints, markers, vintage type writer and more
to build a tactile, messy, and beautiful journal designed to shift your focus toward the good stuff.

Bring along anything you’d like to include - letters, cards, packaging, photos, or scraps - and dip into our shared stash of papers, magazines, stickers, and ephemera.

You can expect

Hike: Gowbarrow Fell
Date: Saturday 17th October
Start Time: 10am
Meet point: Aira force car park near toilets(car parking charges apply)
Distance: 9 miles
Aprox Duration: 4/5 hours
Price: £2 donation on the day (supporting Just for women charity)

Enjoy beautiful views, scenic winding paths and waterfalls as you make your way up and over the fells and through the forest.

Notes
* Difficulty - Moderate
* Bring own packed lunch, drinks etc
* Suitable hiking clothing - boots, waterproofs etc
* Join WhatApp Community group for details. DM page to Join

Please note:
*I not a professional hiker!
*I've not been on this walk before and we will all have to figure this out together, it a community making it happen together thing.
*Ive got the All trails App but never used it, all help welcomed!

It will be a stunning walk and I’m sure we will all have a good laugh along the way.

Dahlias!!

Anyone fancy meeting there to paint, sketch, journal, read poems. Anything really I just loved it!

Thousands of Dahlias all shapes and sizes - incredible

I spent the morning reading some poetry and journaling away to myself, this just fills up my lil joy cup

I’m going to finish off my pages at home as the rain was setting in. This is one of my lil self love rituals, always giving myself some me time to do what makes me happy
