What matters most is that football taught me to choose peace, even when it meant letting go.

perseverance :

persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.

When COVID hit, the world shut down, and so did a part of me. Life shifted overnight. Behind the masks and screens, I faced a battle with mental health that few ever saw. Anxiety, isolation, and uncertainty tried to shake my purpose. But God stayed close. In the silence, He spoke. In the chaos, He covered me. What you see in these photos aren’t just a graduate. It’s a survivor. It’s a testimony. It’s a man who weathered the storm with prayer, perseverance, and the power of God. The last of the COVID class, and finally closing this undergraduate chapter.

Thankyou Delaware State University .
