So stoked to grab up the 265 today. It turns over super smooth and had been stored properly for decades. After running the numbers it shows it is a legendary 1956 Chevrolet 265 cubic-inch small-block V8. This block is highly sought after by collectors because 1956 was a transitional year for the Chevrolet small-block. Unlike the 1955 version, the 1956 3720991 block was redesigned with a full-flow, spin-on oil filter boss integrated right into the casting. #chevysmallblock #SBC #chevrolet #chevyapache #chevy265 taken in Longmont, Colorado by @goolzshred
