Goonzi has had to step away from the rest of our Australian tour. These are the first BFW shows in 22 years he has hasn’t been with us, he will be missed, we love him and support his decision to be with family right now 🧡

In his place for the remaining shows in Sydney & Brisbane we have the wonderful @_harrison_mills, who has managed to learn our set on extremely short notice. We can’t thank him enough for joining and allowing this tour to continue for us without a hitch! He smashed it in Melbourne last night, show him some love in the comments as we welcome him to the team 👇

Tonight we headline in Sydney at @theoxfordartfactory - final remaining tickets are available on the door, get down! 🩸

We rejoin @lambofgod + @triviumband this week for the last shows of this Aussie tour 🇦🇺

lifting my head up enough to say that maya passed on 1st october. mo chridhe. she went in my arms being told how much she’s loved and how wonderful she is.

in the 6 years she’s been with craig and i, she’s known nothing but deep love, care, understanding, and a place to call home. with her own bed in every room. a strange little creature that somehow instantly felt like home. she’s been loved by so many people in our lives and made family, friends, and strangers smile because she’s just one of one. maya would bash her way into your heart and refuse to move. when she showed her ridiculous grin it forced a smile on a face regardless of what that person was going through. a sturdy body of laughter and joy, a real crowd pleaser without trying.

i’ve pleaded with the stars and the space between them, asking them to take care of her. sat with the trees, asking them to shelter her. spoken with the moon, repeating that i’d do anything to know that maya is taken care of when she moves on. rightfully so, care and due diligence are vital duties of the Custodian of a Treasure.

i trust that in time, we’ll find one another again in some way. her energy is unmistakably hers. a confident, gentle, and beloved house hippo called maya. my sweet, sweet girl. the ever present and bright source of light in our lives. my favourite part of any day, at any time of the day.

but now, i need to occupy my hands from rubbing her soft belly or ears. walk in places i know she loved & live in the stillness of a home that she was always excited to come back to. naps in the sun won’t feel as warm as they once did. my beautiful, beautiful girl. i miss you so much. i’ll watch for you 💫 by @goonzibfw
